Los venezolanos cuando hablamos de fiesta, nos referimos a celebración y “pachanga”, para celebrar algo importante como un nacimiento, bautizo, cumpleaños, graduación y muchas otras cosas. Quizás algunos, sobre todo los nuevos se preguntaran y porque hacer Power Up es un pachangón para Mafa. Creo que no solo es generar ingresos, también debo aportar mi granito de arena por el crecimiento de #Hive.
Desde mi punto de vista, debe haber reciprocidad, empatía, confianza y compromiso con #Hive, no es simplemente lanzar una publicación. Va mucho mas allá, ademas de cumplir mis metas de crecer, de invertir y darle valor a mi voto. También es importante apoyar los proyectos, propuestas y a las comunidades.
En la actualidad estamos pasando por turbulencias pero todo pasa y solo juntos saldremos adelante.

When we Venezuelans talk about a party, we mean a celebration and a “pachanga”—to celebrate something important like a birth, a baptism, a birthday, a graduation, and many other occasions. Perhaps some of you, especially the newcomers, are wondering why hosting a Power Up event is such a big deal for Mafa. I believe it’s not just about generating income; I also want to do my part to help #Hive grow. From my perspective, there must be reciprocity, empathy, trust, and commitment to #Hive—it’s not just about posting something. It goes far beyond that, beyond meeting my goals of growing, investing, and adding value to my vote. It’s also important to support projects, proposals, and communities. We’re currently going through some turbulence, but everything passes, and only together will we move forward. I’ll leave it at that!
Allá vienen los nuevos usuarios
“Nuevos usuarios” el primer día de cada mes se acostumbra a hacer Power Up. Con la finalidad de que la cuenta crezca y tener más poder de votos. Sobre todo, hacer un aporte para el crecimiento de #Hive. Cabe destacar que los 365 días del año se puede realizar Power Up. Sin embargo, hay comunidades, proyectos y usuarios que impulsan iniciativas el día primero de cada mes, tal es el caso de @Hivebuzz.
Cuando digo nuevos usuarios, evoco mis inicios en cursos básicos, en la Universidad de Oriente, y los estudiantes que tenían tiempo se formaban en grupos para hacerle bullying a los nuevos y gritaban:
-“Llegaron los nuevos”.
¡OMG! las primeras semanas estaba aterrada escondiéndome para que no se dirán cuenta que era nueva, sobre todo en el autobús y comedor. Pues, los grupos de viejos inventaban para hacernos pasar un mal rato. A los hombres les cortaban el pelo y los pintaban. A las mujeres solo nos echaban broma. Aunque no lo crean, llegar nueva fue un trauma para mi. A la semana ya se aburrían y se olvidaban de nosotros. En #Hive no es así, estamos para apoyarnos.
“Nuevo usuario” les doy la bienvenida y les invito a formar parte del @Proyectoaliento y ha participar en sus iniciativas y actividades. También les recomiendo hacer HivePower, el primer día de cada mes. Cabe destacar que puede hacerlo cualquier día y las veces que lo desee. Les explico brevemente las dos maneras de hacerlo:
- Hacer una publicación al 100% :
Edite la publicación y antes de pulsar para publicar, entre a la opción “ADVANCE” y de clip a “ 100% HIVEPOWER”.
2.Hacer Power Up por la cantidad que ustedes deseen.
Este procedimiento es muy fácil.

Here come the new users
“New users” typically perform a Power Up on the first day of each month. The goal is to grow their account and increase their voting power. Above all, it’s a way to contribute to the growth of #Hive. They would cut the guys’ hair and dye it. They just teased us girls. Believe it or not, starting over was traumatic for me. After a week, they got bored and forgot about us. At #Hive, it’s not like that—we’re here to support each other.
“New users,” I welcome you and invite you to join @Proyectoaliento and participate in its initiatives and activities. I also recommend you earn HivePower on the first day of every month. It’s worth noting that you can do this any day and as many times as you like. Here’s a brief explanation of the two ways to do it: 1. Post at 100%:
Edit the post, and before clicking to publish, go to the “ADVANCE” option and select “100% HIVEPOWER.” y 2. Power Up by the amount you desire.

Tutorial: Paso a paso con manzanas
Primero abrir el wallet, visualiza tu monto de Hive Power (HP). Tomaré como ejemplo el que hice ayer, 1 de mayo.
Luego entrar a Hive Tokens, dar clip y abrir para escoger la opción “StakePower Up”.
Dar clip en StakePower Up, poner nombre de usuario. Decidir el monto de Hive, para este mes el monto es de 30 y después dar continuar.
Esta transacción requiere clave activa. Pegue la clave activa, de a continuar y punto y final. Si desea verifique el nuevo monto regrese al inicio. Es sumamente fácil de realizar.

Step by Step with Apples
First, open your wallet and view your Hive Power (HP) balance. I'll use the one I made yesterday, May 1, as an example.
Then go to Hive Tokens, click on it, and open it to select the “StakePower Up” option.
Click on “StakePower Up,” enter your username, choose the amount of Hive (for this month, the amount is 30), and then click “Continue.”
