Mi presentación en Hive/ My Introduction to Hive

(ES) En general no me gusta mucho escribir grandes textos. Mi verdadera afición realmente es comunicar usando la fotografía. De igual manera como me recomendó Hive account@gornat siempre se espera un post de #IntroducingMysel, así que ahí va el mío.

(EN) I don't really like to write big texts. My real hobby really is communicating using photography. Likewise as recommended by Hive account@gornat an #IntroducingMysel post is always expected, so here goes mine.

Sobre mí
(ES) Mi nombre es Randy, nací en Cuba pero actualmente vivo en Bilbao, España. Me gradué de Licenciatura en Biología en la Universidad de La Habana en 2020. Aunque he estudiado y realicé mi tesis de grado con plantas amenazadas mi verdadera pasión es el estudio y observación de aves.

About me
(EN) My name is Randy, I was born in Cuba but I currently live in Bilbao, Spain. I graduated in Biology at the University of Havana in 2020. Although I have studied and made my thesis with endangered plants, my real passion is the study and observation of birds.

(ES) Además de estudiar y observar aves una de las cosas que más disfruto es la fotografía. Así que combinándolas paso la mayoría de mis ratos libres. Salgo mucho a caminar por lugares naturales y observo y retrato no solo aves, todo lo atractivo que veo en el camino.

(EN) Besides studying and birding one of the things I enjoy the most is photography. So I spend most of my free time combining them. I go out a lot to walk in natural places and I observe and portray not only birds, but everything attractive I see along the way.

(ES) Otra de mis grandes aficiones es viajar aunque realmente no he podido hacerlo todo lo que he querido. Hasta ahora he podido estar en cuatro países: Cuba, Costa Rica, España y Marruecos; pero espero que la lista crezca mucho más. Les muestro fotos de esos viajes.

(EN) Another of my great hobbies is traveling, although I haven't really been able to do it as much as I wanted to. So far I have been to four countries: Cuba, Costa Rica, Spain and Morocco; but I hope the list will grow much longer. I show you pictures of those trips.

Otras cosas sobre mí
(ES) Otras cosas que disfruto hacer es deportes. El deporte es parte inseparable de mi vida, me gusta practicarlo o verlo cada vez que puedo. Me gusta mucho comer, sobre todo comida típica de los lugares a los que voy. Ya he podido disfrutar Gallo Pinto (en Costa Rica), cuscús y tajín (en Marruecos) y Bacalao a la Bilbaina entre muchos otros (en Bilbao), pero sin dudas el cerdo asado, el arroz congris y la yuca con mojo de Cuba está entre mis favoritos.

Other things about me
(EN) Other things I enjoy doing are sports. Sports are an inseparable part of my life, I like to practice it or watch it whenever I can. I like to eat a lot, especially typical food from the places I go to. I have already enjoyed Gallo Pinto (in Costa Rica), couscous and tajin (in Morocco) and Bacalao a la Bilbaina among many others (in Bilbao), but without a doubt roast pork, arroz congris and yucca with mojo from Cuba are among my favorites.

¿Como supe de Hive?
(ES) Supe de Hive por medio de un amigo Hive account@gornat, él me comentó de un video sobre un evento que se realizó en la Habana, #BitcoinAsere. Lo vi, y conversando con él hablamos de esta web así que me embullé y decidí abrirme un perfil. Realmente me queda mucho por aprender, pero creo que el aprendizaje será más eficiente si voy creando contenido. Espero les guste mi presentación y el contenido que iré generando, sin más, hasta la próxima.

How did I hear about Hive?
(EN) I heard about Hive through a friend Hive account@gornat, he told me about a video about an event that took place in Havana, #BitcoinAsere. I saw it, and talking with him we talked about this website so I got hooked and decided to open a profile. I really have a lot to learn, but I think that learning will be more efficient if I create content.
