Hola amigos, hoy les compartiré mi experiencia y lo que aprendí en mi pasantía para optar por el título de ingeniero de sistemas. Esta pasantía la terminé el mes pasado y la realicé en una institución educativa llamada INCES, en mi país Venezuela.
El primer día llegue una hora tarde porque hacía muchos años que no iba a ese lugar y no conocía bien las paradas de autobuses, por lo que estaba bastante perdida. Afortunadamente, comprendieron mi situación y me dieron un recorrido por la instalación junto a mi compañero.

Hello friends, today I will share my experience and what I learned in my internship to obtain the title of systems engineer. I finished this internship last month and did it at an educational institution called INCES, in my country Venezuela.
The first day I arrived an hour late because I hadn't been there for many years and I didn't know the bus stops well, so I was quite lost. Fortunately, they understood my situation and gave me a tour of the facilities with my intern partner.

En la primera semana, solo hicimos trabajos administrativos, los cuales en su mayoría eran a lápiz y papel. Yo me encargaba de registrar a los profesores y los cursos que daban, las primeras veces me equivoque mucho porque me confundía su forma tan desorganizada de registrar los datos.

The first week we only did administrative work, which was mostly work done with pencil and paper. I was in charge of registering the teachers and the courses they taught, the first times I made many mistakes because I was confused by their disorganized way of recording the data.
En la segunda semana, mi tutor se dio cuenta del trabajo que nos estaban asignando y no le gustó, ya que no eran adecuados para alguien que estaba allí como futuro ingeniero de sistemas. Luego de una acalorada discusión de dos horas, llegaron a un acuerdo en el que haríamos tres días trabajos informáticos y dos administrativos.

In the second week, my tutor noticed the jobs we were assigned and didn't like it because they weren't suitable for someone who was there as a future systems engineer. After a heated two-hour discussion, they reached an agreement that we would do IT work for three days and administrative work for two days.
A partir de allí comenzamos a trabajar mayormente reparando computadoras, también en la configuración de redes, en el adiestramiento de usuarios y cualquier otro trabajo que ellos consideraban que debía hacer un ingeniero de sistemas, como quitarle el fondo a una imagen, descargarles música y formatearles el teléfono.
A pesar de todo, conocí a buenas personas, aprendí muchas cosas importantes como trabajar bajo presión y trabajar en equipo. Me gusto la experiencia aunque no fue perfecta.

From there we began to work mainly repairing computers, also in network configuration, in user training and any other work that they considered a systems engineer should do, such as removing the background from an image, downloading music and formatting them the phone.
Despite everything, I met good people, I learned many important things like working under pressure and working as a team. I liked the experience although it was not perfect.
