- Hello to the entire Hive community! I am Yunior Jesus Carrete Valdes, and this is, formally, my introduction to Hive:
Actualmente vivo en Cuba, concretamente en la provincia de Pinar del Río, ciudad con el mismo nombre. Tengo 23 años y trabajo como profesor de inglés en la sede pedagógica de la Universidad de Pinar del Río, donde desarrollo otras funciones docentes desde el ámbito investigativo y cultural. Cuando comencé mis estudios universitarios recibí mucho el apoyo de mi madre y amigos; ellos han sido de gran ayuda en esta vida tan llena de momentos tan lindos como tristes. Por supuesto que un poco de locura es necesaria dentro de tanta seriedad, y es que el camino es así: un día reímos y al otro lloramos.
- I live in Cuba, specifically in the province of Pinar del Río, in a city of the same name. I am 23 years old and work as an English teacher at the pedagogical branch of the University of Pinar del Río, where I also engage in other teaching roles in research and cultural areas. When I started my university studies, I received a lot of support from my mother and friends; they have been a great help in this life, which is filled with both beautiful and sad moments. Of course, a bit of craziness is necessary amidst all this seriousness, because that's how the journey goes: one day we laugh, and the next we cry.
Mis intereses recaen sobre la literatura, el cine, el anime, manga, videojuegos y de manera reciente la fotografía me ha llamado la atención; por supuesto en esta última solo soy un chico tomando fotos a cualquier cosa que me resulte curiosa. Me gusta mucho la literatura clásica y fantástica, adoro leer y tomar todo un día para hacerlo porque las letras tienen algo que es capaz de sumergir mi alma a mundos insospechados.
- My interests lie in literature, movies, anime, manga, video games, and recently, photography has caught my attention; of course, in this last area, I'm just a guy taking pictures of anything that seems interesting. I really enjoy classic and fantasy literature; I love to read and spend an entire day doing it because words have something that can immerse my soul in unexpected worlds.
