হেলাল উদ্দিন। বয়স ৭১বছর । ঠিকানা ঝিনাইদহ জেলার মহেশ্বরচাঁদা গ্রাম। একসময় তিনি ছিলেন স্থানীয় ইউনিয়ণ পরিষদের মেম্বার। বর্তমানে কৃষি কাজ করেই সংসার চালান।

৭১ বয়সী এই বৃদ্ধ প্রতিদিন সকাল বেলা একটি ঝাড়ু নিয়ে বেরিয়ে পড়েন। গ্রামের মসজিদে ফজরের নামাজ আদায় করে ছুটেন গ্রামের একমাত্র বাজার মহেশ্বরচাঁদায়।
এরপর শুরু হয় পুরো বাজার ঝাড় দেওয়ার কাজ। শুদু বাজার ই নয় স্থানীয় মাদ্রাসা চত্বর এবং আসে পাশের এলাকাও তিনি নিজ হাতে পরিষ্কার করেন।
The 71-year-old goes out every morning with a broom. After performing Fajr prayers in the village mosque, he ran to Maheshwarchanda, the only market in the village.
Then began the work of sweeping the whole market. Not only the market but also the local madrasa premises and the surrounding area are cleaned by him.

১৯৯৬ সালে মেম্বার নির্বাচিত হওয়ার পর থেকেই দীর্ঘ ২৫ বছর যাবৎ তিনি কাজটি করে যাচ্ছেন। আর সেইজন্যেই মহেশ্বরচাঁদা বাজারটি সব সময় পরিষ্কার পরিছন্ন থাকে।

অত্যন্ত দরিদ্র পরিবারে জন্ম গ্রহণ করেছেন হেলাল উদ্দিন। স্ত্রী,চার মেয়ে এবং তিন ছেলের সংসার তার। অভাবের কারণে এক সময় ক্ষেতের পশে ইঁদুরের গর্ত থেকেও ধান তুলে খেয়েছেন হেলাল উদ্দিন। তাই অতীতকে ভুলে যাননি তিনি।
Helal Uddin was born in a very poor family. He is survived by his wife, four daughters and three sons. Due to scarcity, Helal Uddin once picked up paddy from a rat hole near the field and ate it. So he did not forget the past.
