A week ago we were discharged from the Hospital Ortopédico Infantil after his surgical intervention, we have already completed the first week of recovery.
The most important reason why I write about this on my blog today is because I am really surprised by the level of positivism and gratitude that I feel before any situation.
I look at my son and I am grateful to be with him, dedicated to his recovery 100%. Being for my son is the most important lesson and gift for me at this time.
I know that sometimes mothers find themselves unable to take care of their children in the face of an illness or any time they need them and this is due to the pressure of taking care of a job with which we feed them.
The other great blessing is that I see Isaac happy, with a good character and excellent mood. These factors are very important for a recovery in the best terms.
I explain to you that since Isaac was operated on both legs, and in each one he received two procedures, he is plastered from the feet to the thighs, and now we are going through the recovery in a clinical bed in the living room.
Monday was his birthday, and despite the rest and immobility, we did not stop celebrating. On the contrary, it was an opportunity to be infinitely grateful to have him with us, healthy and full of life and with the hope of having a life of better quality thanks to the operation.
Close family came to our house to accompany him to blow out the 14 candles and share with him all the delicious things made by grandma and aunt.
I will be telling you how we are spending our days here while the rest of the family is at work and school. My parents were here at home this first week helping us and today they went to their house to rest and return on Monday with us.
You have no idea how I feel when I write these lines with the opportunity to express my gratitude because the surgical intervention went well and I have the youngest of my sons here with me, filling me with his sweetness and his genius.
Lo más importante de la primera semana postoperatoria de mi hijo.
Hace una semana que nos dieron de alta a Isaac en el Hospital Ortopédico Infantil luego de su intervención quirúrgica, ya cumplimos la primera semana de recuperación.
El motivo más importante por el que escribo hoy sobre esto en mi blog es porque realmente me sorprende el nivel de positivismo y agradecimiento que me embarga ante cualquier situación.
Miro a mi hijo y agradezco estar con él, dedicada a su recuperación al 100%. Estar para mi hijo es la lección y el regalo más importante para mí en este momento.
Sé que a veces a las madres les ocurre la situación de no poder cuidar a sus hijos ante una enfermedad o cualquier momento que las necesiten y esto se debe a la presión de cuidar un trabajo con el que les damos de comer.
La otra bendición más grande es que veo a Isaac feliz, con buen carácter y excelente estado de ánimo. Estos factores son muy importantes para una recuperación en los mejores términos.
Les explico, que como Isaac fue operado de ambas piernas, y en cada una recibió dos procedimientos, está enyesado desde los pies hasta los muslos completos, y ahora estamos pasando la recuperación en una cama clínica en la sala de la casa.
El lunes fue su cumpleaños, y a pesar del reposo y la inamovilidad, no lo dejamos de celebrar. Todo lo contrario, fue una oportunidad para agradecer infinitamente tenerlo entre nosotros, sano y lleno de vida y con la esperanza de tener una vida de más calidad gracias a la operación.
La familia cercana vino hasta nuestra casa para acompañarlo a soplar las 14 velitas y compartir con él todas las cosas ricas hechas por la abuela y la tía.
Les voy a estar contando cómo vamos pasando nuestros días aquí nosotros mientras en resto de la familia está en el trabajo y la escuela. Mis padres estuvieron aquí en casa esta primera semana ayudándonos y hoy se fueron a su casa a descansar para regresar el lunes con nosotros.
No saben como siento el corazón de grande al escribir estas líneas con la oportunidad de exteriorizar el agradecimiento porque la intervención quirúrgica salió bien y tengo al menor de mis hijos varones aquí conmigo, llenándome él a mí de su dulzura y su genialidad.
