Nadie se atrevería nunca a defender a los contrarios, o a los que consideramos que son representaciones de todo lo que no somos en esencia, por lo menos nadie con sentido común, ese sentido común que muchas veces nos hace actuar de forma monótona y robótica en la vida, que nos arroja hacia un comportamiento dócil y "correcto" dentro de aquello que llamamos moral pero que no sabemos que significa. Friedrich Nietzsche escribió en alguno de sus tantos escritos que la moralidad es la cárcel de la esencia, imagino que se refirió a que el comportamiento moral que se guía por el sentido común, es aquel que reprime todas las posibilidades que tiene una persona de Ser.
Una vez escuché una canción que hacía todo lo contrario de lo que expongo, es de un grupo de Punk Rock llamado NOFX que durante toda su carrera han criticado a la religión y a sus formas de control masivo a través de la moralidad cristiana, e incluso hay críticas también hacia otras religiones que no practican la creencia en Jesucristo, pero si buscan de controlar a las personas por medio de la moral, y las confrontan contra quienes no comparten sus gustos religiosos. Esas confrontaciones muchos fanáticos las toman de la peor manera, y olvidan que los demás también son humanos y tienen derecho a creer en lo que se les antoje porque al igual que ellos tienen el libre albedrío de escoger la mejor forma de creencia religiosa; aunque hay personas que piensan que la religión es impuesta a los niños desde temprana edad y nadie es realmente capaz de ejercer libremente sus creencias, pero las experiencias de vida que hayan tenido estos niños les reafirman o les rechazan esos pensamientos que inculcaron sus padres en ellos, es decir, un niño a lo largo de su desarrollo según las cosas que ha vivido puede elegir si seguir creyendo en sus raíces religiosas o desechar todo eso en busca de algo que se adapte más a su forma de pensar, así como también hay quienes han vivido traumas conectados a la religión que les forman un carácter adverso o favorable.
Pero volviendo al tema de la canción, que lleva el título de esta publicación, habla sobre un sujeto religioso que ha luchado al igual que cualquier otro sujeto por ganarse la vida, y narra cómo pagó sus estudios universitarios de computación vendiendo carros, suponemos que en una de estos negocios donde las personas llevan sus vehículos a una especie de estacionamiento y donde hay trabajadores que pasan todo el día intentando vender estos, es decir, un trabajo que requiere mucho esfuerzo, y mucho más cuando se usa para pagar un préstamo universitario porque en muchas ocasiones las comisiones por ventas no son tan generosas, y las ventas no son tan seguidas. Además de esto, su familia y sus amigos no son de gran apoyo, lo que quiere decir que este sujeto feliz sólo depende de sí mismo para sobrellevar la vida, y en ese camino difícil que está recorriendo se encuentra a la palabra de Dios como única verdad y medio para soportar las adversidades y hacer de su vida algo más soportable. Es constantemente criticado por ser una persona religiosa, por compartir las cosas que lee, que para él son una verdad y tienen un gran sentido "¿Le ha dado la espalda al libre albedrío?¿Ha perdido su cabeza?" son las cosas que le dicen constantemente criticando su forma de someterse a la dominación religiosa, e incluso se menciona el comentario de que "prefiere arrodillarse que hacerse cargo de su vida".
Todo esto que las personas piensan él lo conoce, lo vive todos los días, lo lee en las paredes, lo escucha en las conversaciones, pero nada de esto influye en él porque sabe cómo se tratan las personas, sabe cómo hablan las personas, sabe cómo son las personas, recordemos que tuvo una familia que sentía lástima por él y unos supuestos amigos que nunca le apoyaron entonces no le afecta lo que el resto del mundo piense porque sabe que los demás siempre van a criticar a otros por como piensen, como se vistan, como hablen, lo que escuchen, lo que lean, lo que sientan, lo que sea. La humanidad siempre va por la vida hablando de lo que no sabe, de lo que no conoce, y en este caso en particular hablan de como él prefiere vivir arrodillado antes que hacerse cargo de su vida, pero no contó ni con sus amigos ni sus familiares para pagarse sus estudios universitarios, he aquí un gran paradigma que pocos, realmente muy pocos pueden observar en otras personas. Es muy fácil criticar a otras personas y decir que prefieren dejar que Dios les resuelva la vida pero no conocen el esfuerzo que han hecho para tener las pocas cosas que tienen, las lágrimas, el sufrimiento, el sudor y la sangre que se ha derramado, para que también un idiota que no tiene certeza ni siquiera de sí mismo venga a abrir la boca ¡Créeme que no hace falta tu opinión de porquería amigo! Si deseas opinar hazlo por aquellos que han sido injustamente tratados por la justicia, y no por aquellos que día a día luchan como tú para vivir en esta jungla de concreto.
Personalmente no me considero alguien religioso, pero siempre me ha molestado como alguien critica la vida de otra persona por el simple hecho de verse más inteligente por creer que piensa, cariño, todos tenemos el superpoder de pensar, eso no hace especial a nadie aunque están sus excepciones pero eso no nos da el derecho de opinar sobre la vida de otro, y menos si no conocemos todo lo que esa persona ha pasado, eso si sería una verdadera inmoralidad, muy por encima de creer en un Dios y hacer lo que dictan sus mandamientos. Por eso cuando escuché esta canción por primera vez, además de enamorarme de la melodía y el ritmo, me dejo una profunda conciencia su letra porque hasta el momento no he escuchado otra canción, o leído un libro, o visto una película que refleje tan bien una defensa al antagonismo moral que practican sus autores, en otras palabras, jamás pensé que unos punketos que cantan en contra de los gobiernos y los poderes eclesiásticos hicieran una canción a favor de aquellos individuos teológicos que son marginados por aquellas personas que se creen superiores por ser ateos y escuchar canciones en contra de los gobiernos y los poderes eclesiásticos, fue simplemente una verdadera obra de arte y una enorme clase magistral sobre moral humana.
La letra al final de la canción es lo que más impacta porque refleja como las personas le juzgan, le critican sin importarle lo que en realidad es él, o lo que siente cuando él está siendo él mismo; es como una especie de egoísmo por ver a los demás siendo ellos mismos, y sentimiento de envidia por no poder ser felices como somos sino más bien criticando la vida de los demás. Les voy a dejar la letra por aquí para que puedan leerla y juzgar si mi punto de vista es correcto o hay algo errado, son libres de criticarme.

In addition to this, his family and friends are not very supportive, which means that this happy guy only depends on himself to get through life, and on this difficult road he is traveling he finds the word of God as the only truth and means to endure the adversities and make his life more bearable. He is constantly criticized for being a religious person, for sharing the things he reads, which for him are a truth and have a great meaning "Has he turned his back on free will? Has he lost his mind?" are the things that are constantly said to him criticizing his way of submitting to religious domination, and even the comment that "he prefers to kneel down than to take charge of his life" is mentioned.
All this that people think he knows, he lives it every day, he reads it on the walls, he hears it in conversations, but none of this influences him because he knows how people treat each other, he knows how people talk, he knows what people are like, let's remember that he had a family that felt sorry for him and some so-called friends that never supported him so he is not affected by what the rest of the world thinks because he knows that others will always criticize others for how they think, how they dress, how they talk, what they hear, what they read, what they feel, whatever. Personally I do not consider myself someone religious, but it has always bothered me how someone criticizes the life of another person for the simple fact of looking smarter for believing they think, honey, we all have the superpower to think, that does not make anyone special although there are exceptions but that does not give us the right to comment on the life of another, and less if we do not know everything that person has gone through, that would be a real immorality, far above believing in a God and do what they dictate their commandments. That's why when I heard this song for the first time, besides falling in love with the melody and the rhythm, its lyrics left me with a deep conscience because so far I have not heard another song, or read a book, or seen a movie that reflects so well a defense to the moral antagonism practiced by its authors, in other words, I have never thought that some punk punks who are not in love with the song would be so good at defending their moral antagonism, I never thought that some punketos who sing against governments and ecclesiastical powers would make a song in favor of those theological individuals who are marginalized by those people who think they are superior for being atheists and listening to songs against governments and ecclesiastical powers, it was simply a true work of art and a huge master class on human morality.
The lyrics at the end of the song are the most striking because they reflect how people judge him, criticize him without caring about what he really is, or what he feels when he is being himself; it is like a kind of selfishness to see others being themselves, and a feeling of envy for not being able to be happy as we are but rather criticizing the lives of others.
