Hola Hivers, me contenta mucho comentarles lo feliz que me siento por volver a una de mis pasiones, el periodismo de calle 🤩 y lo comento de esta manera es porque hace aproximadamente dos años y medio, resulta que hacía este tipo de trabajos de manera constante.
Antes que entrara la pandemia en Venezuela, yo había parado un poco el «periodismo de calle» porque tuve que cambiar de trabajo, luego, al llegar la pandemia, todo fue más difícil y complicado a la hora de cubrir eventos, hacer reportes, entrevistas y más.
Tuve que parar mi pasión principal que es el periodismo deportivo en las canchas, eso fue lo más duro, lo que más me dolió. Tener que separarme de lo que más me gusta y lamentablemente, hasta el sol de hoy, yo no he vuelto a cubrir en la calle pautas deportivas.
Les confieso que ha sido difícil y ya tener que volver, quizás me cueste un poco, pero me hará muy feliz.
Lo que sí es cierto es que contacté a un periodista que desde hace tiempo quiere que yo trabaje con él y me invitó a cubrir algunas pautas que tienen que ver con la política. Si bien es cierto que el tema político no me atrae mucho, yo ante todo, soy una periodista integral y debo aprender a trabajar en distintas áreas. Eso es lo que precisamente he hecho en estos dos últimos años, he trabajado más en otras áreas, menos con el deporte. Pero dondequiera que me paro, me presento como periodista deportiva.
El periodista que contacté me invitó a cubrir dos ruedas de prensa y yo quedé encanta 🤩 porque fue como volver a los viejos tiempos... Ustedes saben que cuando uno narra experiencias del pasado que fueron muy gratas para nosotros, siempre decimos «los viejos tiempos», bueno, en este caso me sentí así, como volver a otra época.
Pero no, resulta que todo era real y me tropecé con viejos conocidos, periodistas que conocí en pautas anteriores y los encontré allí.
Nos dirigimos al municipio San Francisco del estado Zulia, tuvimos que llegar por GPS al lugar de la rueda de prensa porque no sabíamos exactamente dónde quedaba ese lugar llamado «Restaurante Doña Pepa», ahí era la primera rueda de prensa que trataba sobre unos juegos deportivos, organizados por la alcaldía del municipio. Quiero confesar que la primera parada que tuvimos fue en la Vereda del Lago, ubicada en la ciudad de Maracaibo, estado Zulia. Ahí iba a ser la primera pauta, pero todo se canceló y nos mandaron al restaurante.
De ahí, nos pasamos directamente a otra rueda de prensa, esa sí era en la alcaldía de San Francisco y era directamente Dada por el alcalde y la primera dama. Allí ví colegas de todos lados, me impresionó bastante la cantidad de personas que habían en ese lugar y el alcalde estaba hablando sobre lo que se viene en los Carnavales para el municipio.
Me quedé allí, conocí más personas, el trato fue fenomenal y me sentí muy a gusto.
Aunque, no todo fue color de rosa, lo disfruté muchísimo. Y escribo esa expresión es porque el carro nos falló en varias ocasiones, en la primera, simplemente no quería encender y el periodista que andaba conmigo tuvo que ir a buscar un técnico rápidamente.
Para resumir la historia, tuvimos varios inconvenientes con el vehículo, en distintas oportunidades se apagó y llegamos casi «gateando» (como dicen los maracuchos) cada quien a su casa.

Hi Hivers, I am very happy to tell you how happy I am to be back to one of my passions, street journalism 🤩 and I comment this way is because about two and a half years ago, I happened to be doing this kind of work on a constant basis.
Before the pandemic entered Venezuela, I had stopped a little "street journalism" because I had to change jobs, then, when the pandemic arrived, everything was more difficult and complicated when it came to covering events, doing reports, interviews and more.
I had to stop my main passion which is sports journalism in the courts, that was the hardest thing, what hurt me the most. Having to separate myself from what I love the most and unfortunately, to this day, I have not returned to cover sports on the street.
I confess that it has been difficult and having to go back, maybe it will cost me a little, but it will make me very happy.
What is true is that I contacted a journalist who has been wanting me to work with him for a long time and he invited me to cover some political topics. Although it is true that I am not very attracted to politics, I am, above all, an integral journalist and I must learn to work in different areas. That is precisely what I have done in these last two years, I have worked more in other areas, less with sports. But wherever I stand, I present myself as a sports journalist.
The journalist I contacted invited me to cover two press conferences and I was delighted 🤩 because it was like going back to the old days.... You know that when one narrates experiences of the past that were very pleasant for us, we always say "the old times", well, in this case I felt like that, like going back to another era.
But no, it turns out that everything was real and I bumped into old acquaintances, journalists I met in previous guidelines and found them there.
We headed to the municipality of San Francisco in Zulia state, we had to arrive by GPS to the place of the press conference because we did not know exactly where was that place called "Restaurante Doña Pepa", there was the first press conference that was about some sports games, organized by the mayor's office of the municipality. I want to confess that the first stop we had was in the Vereda del Lago, located in the city of Maracaibo, Zulia state. There was going to be the first stop, but everything was cancelled and we were sent to the restaurant.
From there, we went directly to another press conference, that one was in the San Francisco City Hall and was directly given by the mayor and the first lady. There I saw colleagues from all over, I was quite impressed by the amount of people there and the mayor was talking about what is coming in the Carnivals for the municipality.
I stayed there, met more people, the treatment was phenomenal and I felt very comfortable.
