I am providing some links for whomever to take a look at on this OP with the killing, or alleged killing, of Charlie Kirk. Watching the footage of what appears to be Kirk being shot and dying on stage does not get easier - but to assess the possibilities of what actually happened on September 10th, one needs to take a look. The first time I saw the footage, it was gut wrenching and I had to turn it off... But the more I thought about it and the more it's been talked about, I had to take a closer look and some people have done that with some good commentary to go with it. Charliemay be dead. Whether he is, or not, the division is real and the doubling down on state power is all too apparent for those with eyes to see and ears to hear.

Prepare yourself. Take a look. It's hard to know what to believe, and no matter if this was staged, the implications are the same: Freedom is dead; we are left with illusions to cling to and questions that will (likely) never be answered.

I'm reminded of the movie 'V for Vendetta'; The whole plot is based on the premise of the state taking ultimate power over two primary issues: A major "health" event that kills a lot of people and going after the most radical in society - those who speak out or live lifestyles that are not popular and are deemed dangerous to the fabric of society, namely the attacking of the aberrancy of those who are gay/trans, etc. (Don't take this that I support those lifestyles AT ALL.) But freedom is either equally protected for all or eventually they will be coming for you. Just look up that famous Niemoller quote "First they came for..." One does not have to believe in the institutions listed in the quote, but the sentiment is the same; Eventually they'll get around even to the people who thought they were on the side of the state.
