Christmas is a season to show love to others, it is a season to make people feel special and always put a smile on people's faces, Christmas is not only about eating and being merry but sharing gifts is also part of celebrating Christmas.
Last year was one of my favorite years, though I am still managing myself but I was so fulfilled because I can release out of the little I have and extend it to the needy make them feel love, and also put a smile on their faces.
I planned to celebrate my Christmas in the orphanage home, I had planned for this many times but I couldn't make it possible, but last year was a time that I dedicated to it, I planned and was happy that I was able to achieve my goal.
I bought many gifts and also reached out to some of my friends because I couldn't do that alone, I got support from a few of my friends which made it a success for me, I cooked and bought some drinks and also bought some clothes, shoes to distribute for the children.
I know how it feels not to have a family, I had not been in that position but I have been away from home for years, so being lonely can cause so many things, or not feeling loved by your family can be the height of it. I cooked and packed them in takeaway and shared them among the children, I celebrated my Christmas in the orphanage home and I enjoyed the moment I shared with them.
When I called one of my friends she suggested that I monetize it and send it to the orphanage home account, but I feel I would not feel fulfilled if I did that, it is very easy to send money to the home but it may not make any difference to me because I wish to be with them, make them feel love and also derive joy in their midst.
Giving out of the little I have makes me happy and got blessed in multiple folds, there is nothing more than being happy and knowing that others are blessed through you, I give my time and resources to bless the children and I was so happy doing this with them.
I took this responsibility upon myself to be gifting the needy every year, I am planning to visit the hospital this year with some of my friends, there is no greater lover than the one will get from people who are happy around us, seeing people smiling and rejoicing is what always motivate me to do more and always think we can do the same, blessing people who ate in need should be our priority, not the ones who have in abundance.
Also, let's give out of the little we have, we shouldn't wait until we have much before giving out, there are some instances that you can give out the lowest denomination to the needy and that will be their greatest Joy throughout that day, nothing is too small to bless others and we will be blessed with multiple of it.
