It is no longer news that Nigeria got thought position in the ongoing African cup of Nations football games period this was after morocco beats the players in a penalty shootout during the semi-finals.
In essence, losing the semi-finals Nigeria's had to battle with Egypt to struggle for the third place in the game then 90 minutes game was not sufficient enough to score goals hands it ended up in a penalty shootout. During the penalty thanks to the goalkeeper Nigeria was able to triumph which is score of 4-2.
Nigerians at home were so hopeful that the super Eagles players would bring home their Cup this year but unfortunately their morale was low in Morocco. Although they were claims that there is a difference when you play at home than when you play in a place where there are no people sharing you up.
This can be so relatable in real life where people tend to do better when they are surrounded by loved ones or family rather than when they are isolated and lonely in a place where they are not familiar with.
In the end, as a country we still celebrate with the super Eagles players for their strength and tenacity in the game and for winning the afcon bronze medal.
It is not easy to be on the pitch and play for 90 minutes in essence we just have to support and cheer our footballers.
