I've been contemplating on how to go about writing this post as it seem like an overview of my Hive journey in the area of growth and engagement and I've been thinking it would be too much to put down in post.
But I decided to just start anyways and share what I can about my growth on Hive with no specific order or special mentions as every action I've taken while on Hive for my account are important and had their effect on my growth level today.
I've been on Hive for two years and still counting, one thing is sure, I've been consistent in being active here.

Thanks to the one who introduced Hive to me, I've learnt that I won't learn to grow better here on Hive if I don't stay active on the blockchain. I can still remember how enthusiastic I was in my first few months trying to navigate things on my own as I ask important questions where necessary and figured out things on my own.
It's a surprise when I see newbies trying to just earn big in their first month without even trying to understand how the blockchain works or what needs to be done to grow their accounts or at least, their newly found skill (writing). I will proudly say I was a very hardworking newbie who knew she needed to learn as much as possible before thinking of earning.
My beginning on Hive wasn't so hard, I got good rewards but I always thought it was due to my activeness and willingness to learn the new ways. There's no secret recipe to earning big in Hive if you ask me because I've been here long enough to know how much effect engagement has on my account.
Joining contests, initiatives, discord channels and exploring communities to know my strength has contributed greatly to my growth on Hive. I don't try to force it when I know I'm having a hard time creating a content for a particular community, I just find where my strength is and it all works out.
Engaging on Hive can be fun but not so easy. Regardless of that, I have a style to how I engage and that is... Focusing on contents I understand well enough, newbies who are finding their ways on Hive, friends I follow and new communities I try to connect with to see if I have a strength there. It doesn't sound easy and it isn't easy to do but somehow I enjoy doing it whenever I get the chance to.
As regards to growing my earnings, investments and tokens, I explore when I'm done with creating content for the day, I ask questions where necessary and I try to check on how others are doing especially my fellow friends on Hive. These steps have taken my account far within the two years I've been here.
Obviously, growth isn't instant and it could take longer time for me and not take much time for another. The main thing is having the growth mindset and you'll see yourself climbing up the ladder. No one told me Hive was going to be easy growing an account on, all I was told was that I try to be active as much as I can.
One thing that has helped me remain active, consistent and loving it here for two years and still counting, is that I enjoy writing and I take it as a hobby that pays me. Expecting rewards on every content is fine but letting no rewards on content discourage me from being active is not fine by me. I've never had a day I don't create post because I didn't get rewards on previous content.
Well, I do get something no matter how small on all my content so I guess you could say I can't stop because of that but I know people who have stopped because of that and so I think I'm doing a great job in being consistent and loving it here.
A few tips to take from this post regarding your growth on Hive.

- Have it in mind that it won't continue to be that way, change is constant.
- Explore as much as you can when you are short of what to do on Hive.
- You're here to earn too, but try not to focus so much on that.
