In front of friends and family, two people come together to celebrate their love and commitment to one another during a wedding, which is always seen as a happy and festive celebration.
But for me not everything about weddings is happy or entertaining. Actually, there are a lot of things that occurs at weddings that i find disgusting and dislike.
The excessive drinking at weddings is one of the things that I dislike the most or am not very fond of. Although serving alcohol at wedding receptions is a normal thing, some guests drink and do get carried away to the point that they disturb other guests or cause unpleasant situations. Excessive drinking may seriously ruin the atmosphere of a wedding, causing everything from loud and noisy actions to senseless fights.
Excessive and showy displays of money at weddings are something else I dislike. While it seems natural and ok for a couple to want to celebrate their big day in style, but some weddings tend to go too far with expensive gifts, expensive venues, and complex decoration. Guests may not be able to afford such luxury themselves may become bitter or feel bad.
Similar to this, I find it offensive when a couple ask me to follow their wedding customs and traditions. I feel so uncomfortable if forced to follow.
Moreover, i find it annoying that certain weddings are competitive. Some weddings feel more like competitions than celebrations of love, with couples seeking for attention during speeches and dances or trying to do more than another in terms of venues, decoration, or food and entertainment. This can make the atmosphere unpleasant or uncomfortable for me.
Another thing that detest me is keeping a wedding ceremony for a long time. While the ceremony is the heart of the wedding day, a lengthy traditional ceremony can make me sometimes feel restless or bored, Especially when the weather is hot and the venue is not conducive.
In addition, I find that at weddings, seating arrangements can occasionally be a source of annoyance. The way people are seated at an event can greatly affect how much they enjoy it. I feel In order to make sure that every guest that comes to your wedding feels comfortable and appreciated.
Another common issue during weddings for me is the regard for the food choices or preferences of the guests. Even while it can be difficult and not that easy to satisfy every food demands, careful menu planning can help ensure that everyone will be able to enjoy their meal. For example, in the menu, food for diabetic patient and vegetarians should be included to avoid them being left out.
Additionally, i have issues with long speeches or toasts during the wedding ceremony. Heartfelt and short speeches have the ability to be the highlight of the wedding reception, but long speeches could annoy me. To ensure that speeches are short, captivating, and meaningful so that guests can completely appreciate whatever is being said, couples may work together with their those who speak and also give them timing.
