My journey with the Ecency app has been exciting. At first when I started the Hive blockchain, I thought it would be a tough one, but just navigating through the app was fun, the interface was friendly. Ecency made everything smooth, although I did not start posting with the Ecency frontend, when I later started using it, it became my go-to app on a daily basis. Among the several frontends on Hive, Ecency stands out for me as one of the best and easiest to use, and I will share why I like it, some of its features, and my personal experience using it.
Unlike other frontends, Ecency rewards users. This app gives points for posting, engaging, and commenting on people’s entries, and the points can be used to promote posts and make them more visible.
Another interesting thing about Ecency is its notification pattern. The app keeps me updated on votes, comments, mentions, and rewards earned, so that I do not miss out on anything.
With Ecency, I discover new communities easily, join them, and engage with people. Recently Ecency introduced the cross-posting feature, which makes it easy to share a post from one community to another. This feature has been very helpful, although I can only make use of it via the web app.
Checking my Hive wallet balance, making transfers, and managing other resources has been made easy with Ecency. The app has made my journey on Hive fun and stress-free. Furthermore, Ecency can be used on Android, iOS, and desktop, and this flexibility allows more people to enjoy the platform.
Another sweet feature in the app is the draft option. At times when my post clears off unexpectedly, I have no fear because I know that I can always recover it from the saved draft.
Although I have not been making much use of the web app, it has some great features that I love anytime I try it, and I am planning to make use of it more often. I use the mobile app more frequently, and as I said earlier, it is my daily go-to app.
