I have traveled a lot in my life and had many experiences, both good and bad. I just love traveling and do not miss any chance of it. However, now, due to work and some other responsibilities, my traveling has been reduced a lot. I have been sharing my past traveling experiences on Hive. In fact, I joined Hive just to share my past trips and their pictures, and most of my posts are related to my traveling experiences.
There are different kinds of traveling - with family and friends, and then there comes a time when you have to travel alone. I have enjoyed all of my traveling experiences. I have learned a lot from my past trips. I have to travel with family every year from Karachi to Peshawar to attend our community event, which takes place in Peshawar, almost 1600 km from Karachi. I always try to figure out the best suitable and comfortable way within our budget to travel this far. In the past, we have traveled by trains and buses, and all of them were nice. This year in April, we will be traveling in sleeper buses. They are newly introduced and are a very comfortable way to travel with kids.
I usually prefer traveling with as little baggage as possible and successfully pack all of the stuff in one or two suitcases. Traveling with kids is not easy as they have a lot of stuff, but still, my sister-in-law and my wife do this packing thing very well - concise and necessary things only. We got this skill from my parents because we used to travel a lot and learned a lot from them.
I usually like and prefer short one or two-day trips with not much baggage so I can freely enjoy and explore the places with nothing in hand to carry or just a single backpack. I donβt like much traveling in planes as it is costly, and one cannot enjoy the journey and reach the destination in no time. It is better to view the on-way sceneries, which are mostly eye-catching, and it feels good to view that amazing nature, whether from a car, bus, or train.
In my past experiences, I have traveled a lot to many attractions in the UK, Egypt, and Sweden. With friends, I used to make one-day trips only, and we enjoyed a lot. We went to other cities, explored, and returned the same day. I usually avoid spending the night or sleeping in hotels. It's better to take a nap in the car/train/bus, spend a day exploring different attractions of the city, and return at night. One-day trips are best for me, and I really like these types of traveling. However, I enjoy both short and long-distance journeys. The most important thing in traveling is the people you are accompanied with. If they are like-minded, then your journey is going to be splendid. Luckily, I never get disappointed in my traveling experiences because of the lovely people around me, which makes the traveling experience comfortable and enjoyable.
