I've found myself thinking more and more about the concept of love despite my sheer apathy about it.
I've been in love, seen others in love, know some out of love, know those searching for it and others trying to get rid of it and with all my experience with the emotion I can say just this.
Love is the cure for everything... except poverty and toothaches
The title of my post may sound silly, to other's it seems like a click bait.
To me its fact.... And is in fact a clickbait that just sound's silly.
That's my wittiness for you... One stone hitting three lovebirds*
As a teenager, the one emotion that we quickly get introduced to is the emotion of affection, of love.
Love is a strong thing, which is even stronger now due to media and the overall "vibe" of this century that tries to sneak in the emotion into everything.
As a teenager quickly becoming a youth, another thing I've been forced to think about is financial security and the vivid very possible future called poverty.
In some countries for most teenagers that future possibility can be probably described as a 1 out of 10 chance and maybe something described in horror stories to make them more hardworking.
In my country, poverty is an 8 out of 10 possibility that children see in vivid HD coloured animations everyday.
Nobody needs to teach you about money and how to keep it.
Na your body go tell you.
In my (more than 18) years of life, I've been taught quite explicitly the crucial lesson that love isn't the answer for poverty.
Love may be blind but it quickly regains it's eyesight after three to four weeks of unfilled bellies.
It may be deaf but after the first one month it starts hearing rumors of greener pastures someplace else that isn't where it had put you in the first place.
It may be loyal but...
Well love was never the most loyal๐
The term "marry rich" may sound unromantic, dreadful and just outright shitty.
Yet it's the hard plain truth.
If one had to choose between love and financial stability, he or she, whoever they may be would surely choose the other.
Even if by some odd chance, they are naive enough to choose love.
Without the money later coming in, the love would wash off like okrika red cloth that has been washed three times with sunshine detergent ๐
You'd see your devote lover becoming as hateful and angry as a ManU fan watching Salah score his Hat-Trick in the sixtieth minute of ManU vs Liverpool.
Now don't get me wrong, love is a wonderful thing.
Love is life and life is love...
But a lot of things are needed to sustain life and thus sustain love and seventy percent of those things need money.
So.. in essence... this post is just me telling you to watch out for love.
Especially if you're broke.
But if you're with a huge stash of HBD like my bosses ,

...
I'd be waiting for your wedding invitations on or before November...
abenad... Emeka is coming for you๐
For those who may be wondering about the toothache bit...
Let's be honest, a kiss on the cheek from your special other, to help cure the nasty ache your molar is dishing out is indeed a kind gesture but my dear it's not helping...
So you for like stay your lane before I cover your eye๐.
