Let’s be honest — the world dislikes short guys. They won’t say it. But you see it in their eyes.
The Girl Who Insulted Me

Let's begin with girls. I have an experience I want to share. During my days in secondary school before I wrote JAMB, I wanted to 'toast' a girl. I don't actually mean toasting of bread, but literally I'm referring to relationship. I approached the girl regardless she's my height just to introduce myself but guess what happened? She insulted me like I did something evil to her. After that experience I realized that most girls prefer tall boys.
Another thing I figured out is, girls tend to like boys who are tall because they feel they are more fearless and compatible enough to defend them from bad guys. It's actually a lie because on social medias, there are short guys who eventually defend their tall spouse or girlfriend from those tall beasts.
Messi Proves It
Its known that tall people gain more popularity in sports and what have you, but I want all the short kings out there to know that they are on top and even very popular and talented with their height. Messi an Argentina footballer is a short man but he's a very tactical and talented player. In short he's the GOAT in football right now because despite he's height, he soared through the football field and attained great heights.
Zacchaeus Climbed Anyway
Zacchaeus shows that your height doesn't limit your impact, because he was a short man who still found a way to see Jesus by climbing a tree. His story says you don't have to wait for life to make room for you — sometimes you’ve got to create your own vantage point. He also teaches that character matters more than stature, since Jesus picked him out of the crowd despite people looking down on him as a tax collector. Short people can still be bold, resourceful, and take initiative when it counts. And the best part: Zacchaeus changed his life in one day, proving it’s never about how tall you stand, but how ready you are to step up.
Most short guys feel depressed or isolated because they feel that their height defines them but no, it only defines our physical appearance. As a matter of fact, greatness runs through our lineage.
To all short kings in Nigeria and the world: Focus. Stay humble. Your height doesn’t define your impact and always remember this popular quote from Williams Shakespeare; "And though she be but little, she is fierce".
