Communication generally is a great gift of nature but it entails you understanding what the person is saying and the person understanding what you are saying too.
It's said to be a Two-way Task because it deals with two parties clearly understanding themselves.
We speak to animals but then, we don't communicate...
This is because with animals, they talk their way which I am sure they understand and we talk our way which we understand but then we never understand them and they never understands a reasonable amount of what we say especially without sounds and demonstrations...... There's a breech in communication.
If there is an animal I really want to talk to and understand what they say, it will be the HOUSEHOLD CAT... Emphasis on the household ones not those bush and forest ones before it will eat me even before I could communicate 🤣
Funny enough I am not a lover of cats at all... Never at all but then here I am wanting to understand what they say
Why Do You Think I Made That Choice?
Hehe, nothing happens without a cause I guess.
Few months ago, I visited my grandmother at the village and on getting home, I discovered she bought cat because of the constant destruction of her food items by the rats and other rodents at the store.
She bought the cat to help do the security work even though the cat looks so small as if one of the rodents will even swallow it if it tries to stop them🤣
Initially, I was chasing the cat away whenever it comes near me but it never gave up and eventually my hate for it waned down and we became friends.
It always jumps up and down around me and gets to my feet always making the "meow sound" but I never understood what it wanted... How I wish I could.
One certain day, it came to my room and was just quiet, I wanted to know what was going on but again, I couldn't understand it... Was very painful.
The apex of it all was when I wanted to travel and it kept following me and making that sound to almost the place I'll cross the tar road before my grandmother chased it back.... I knew it was probably trying to communicate and wish me journey mercies or probably telling me it will miss me but again, I couldn't pick up anything 😢.
Seeing the prompt above made my mind race back to this particular event to tell you how much I really wanted to understand all the cat was saying when I was at the village but well, I guess it's not possible, hehe.
Now let's get down from the rollercoaster of our unending imagination, lol.
Communication is very good gift but then it's a two-way act as you need to understand what you are trying to say and also make who you're communicating understand too (far more different from just speaking and making sounds)
Come to think about it....
The wall of Jericho was going well until there was disparity in language as we were told by the Bible and eventually everyone scattered and nothing went further again which proves the fact that...
The level of prosperity we are experiencing is probably because of the human communication skills to tell you how good it is.
