Hello Frens
I'm your Friend and for this week I would love to share my insights on the second topic of the Week which Says:
📝 Medical compatibility is one of the things many people fail to check while in a relationship, and when they discover that they are not compatible along the line, the lovers going separate ways becomes an issue. What advice would you give to lovers in this situation, and when do you think it is the right time for lovers to check their medical compatibility?
This Particular Case in which incompatible partners Fall in love and perhaps get married has been one of the greatest challenges we face in the Health Sector. Some people may counter this a lot saying our Forefathers weren't aware of these things but still Got Married.
Others Would say Love is Blind and compatibility is not a strong enough reason for Partners to separate.
In this article, I will highlight most of the issues that Couples come down with after getting into a relationship with an incompatible partner. They Include:
Hemolytic Anemia:
This Anemia occurs when the RBCs are broken and destroyed more quickly during circulation than the bone marrow can replace them. It can be caused by a malfunctioning immune system that Destroys healthy RBCs or by certain medications such as antibodies or blood pressure medications. Examples of such include:
Sickle Cell Anaemia
This is a common and popular issue lovers encounter. Sickle cell anemia is a genetic condition of the red Blood cells (RBCs). It is an inherited disorder of the Red Blood Cells.
Normal Red Blood cells (RBCs) are shaped like discs or in a concave shape which allows them to travel freely and more flexibly through even the smallest blood vessels. However, in a sickled Cell, the RBCs have an abnormal crescent shape or Biconcave shape medically Known as Sickled shape. This makes them sticky and rigid and prone to getting trapped in small vessels. The Blood cells become Blocked and there is little or no Circulation of blood freely in the body which causes the cells and the tissues around them to get Paralyzed and dead.
When this happens the Vital Organs in the Body malfunction because of a Lack of blood supply to these organs.
Here the Incompatible Lovers are lovers with Genotype

Hence, making them unfit.
Reasons:
So that they don't produce sickle cell Babies or children with Hemolytic Conditions.
Secondly, we have
Rhesus Factor Incompatibility: this is another Hemolytic disorder that is often disregarded in society. This leads to Rh Disease in the Newborn.
The Rhesus factor, or Rh factor, is a certain type of protein found on the outside of red blood cells. People are either Rh-positive (they have the protein) or Rh-negative (they don’t have the protein). This is important when you’re Rh-negative and pregnant with a fetus who is Rh-positive.
You might ask What the rhesus Factor is
Rh factor (or Rhesus factor) is a particular protein present on the
outside or surface of your RBCs. This Protein is Inherited, which means you get your Rh factor from your biological parents. If you have the protein, you’re Rh-positive, and If you don’t have the protein, you’re Rh-negative.
So Rhesus Factor incompatibility happens when:
A rhesus-negative (-) woman marries a rhesus(+) husband.
When the Woman gets pregnant and delivers and delivers a rhesus(+) baby. During the detachment of the Placenta, there is a mix of the fetus's blood with the maternal Circulation.
When this happens the maternal body creates antibodies to fight the intruder introduced to her system.
Complications might likely not occur during a person’s first pregnancy. This is because it’s unlikely that your blood will mix with the fetus’s blood until delivery, which means antibodies won’t form until after the fetus is born.
But Rh incompatibility becomes a problem if you become pregnant a second time. The antibodies created in your body put the second fetus at risk. Once your body detects a Rh-positive fetus, antibodies can pass into the fetus’s blood and attack its red blood cells. This is called Rh disease. Rh disease can be life-threatening for the fetus. Some fetuses get miscarried. Although there are treatments for issues like this.
So a Rhesus negative woman is incompatible with a rhesus positive Man.
So the Questions:
Should the Lovers Go Their Separate Ways?
Yes! They should. They should separate to avoid future completion and produce at-risk children or children that will suffer in the future.
When is the Right Time to Check?
Should you happen to fall in love with someone and start the dating and courtship process, a lot of things should be checked, and discussed. Aside from medical compatibility, there are other Compatibilities to be checked but Medicals come first and then the early to better make detachment easier.
Love shouldn't be so blind to critical aspects like this because death is Inevitable but here it is imminent
