Here is the question," what is something that everyone looks stupid doing? “
There were plenty of things I did, and I was like, am I stupid?
I never wanted to be this stupid again in my life .
have you ever been waving at someone who was NOT waving at you.
Allow me to share my experience here, it happened to me some months ago, here is how it all started.
In 2012, while I was still living in a place called Aboru , Iyana ipaja Lagos. I used to have a neighbor then from Ekiti state, he had two girls and a boy. The eldest was a girl and her name was called Ayomide . As a neighbor then Ayomide and me were friends, though it was just a friend nothing else was attached to it .we are close then to the extent everyone in the area thought we were dating ourselves. Without talking much your time, some things later came up that I had to leave the area. It was “relocating things” ,it was due to an unnecessary increment of house rent in which I could not afford to pay.
I had no option than to pack my things and go search for another place to rent.I could not get a place that is closer to where I am staying before, I just have to go rent another apartment in a place that is very far from where I do stay.
Because of these circumstances, we lost contact, and we were unable to see each other for over 10 years. Last month I saw her at Iyana ipaja.I could not quickly recognize her neither did she recognize me too, I think it was because a lot had changed about both of us.

Here is where the question asked by the hive Naija community happened to me in real life, and I seriously looked idiotic and ashamed.
After I had dropped at Iyanaipaja bus-stop, as I was about going to the place I wanted to buy my stuff , it was in the midst of crowd, that I sighted her, and I was like waving my at her and was” calling her name. Ayomide, I called her three(3) times, but she wasn't responding, I did not stop, and I was moving closer to where she was, and she like" I don't know you" I looked stupid, and I felt like entering into the ground because everyone there was already looking somehow and have to explain myself vividly before she remembered me.
That day I promised myself that I won't be too forward again doing that kind of thing in public and that will always be conscious of my self especially when I am in the public.
Thanks for reading my post.
This is my response to hive naija prompt .
