A war crime trial that has to do with four formal prominent Kosovo Liberation Army leaders has been scheduled to take effect by the beginning of 2023. The four formal Kosovo Liberation Army leaders which include Kadri Veseli, Hashim Thaci, Rexhep Selimi, and Jakup Krasniqi are expected to be facing the International Criminal Court based on the war crime they committed against humanity between March 1998 and September 1999 when they were still in charge as the commanding officers of the guerrilla army.
Balkan Transition Justice reported that Hashim Thaci who was the ex-president of Kossovo and his three other war crime offenders are suspected to have committed a war crime that went contrary to the International Criminal Court against humanity and its properties. It was stated clearly in the Balkan report that the four formal Kosovo Liberation Army leaders committed tortures, killings, illegal detentions, and prosecutions of innocent civilians between March 1998 and September 1999 which was mainly at the KLA centers for detentions in Kosovo and Albania.
Prishtina Insight reported that the four formal Kosovo Liberation Army leaders are said to be part of the group of criminals who wanted to take control of Kosovo by all means which they forced it oppositions through violence, intimidations, and killings.
Committing a war crime is so easy for most prominent leaders in the world just like the case of the four formal Kosovo Liberation Army leaders that think that they were in power years ago and for that they will not be facing any war crime panel but in the present generation that is not the case because before one commit a war crime the so-called leader must be aware that they is a provision by the International Criminal Court that kicks against people torturing, and killing of civilians illegally and if they go contrary to the ICC human right provision nationwide they will surely face a war crime panel and it doesn’t matter the year the crime was committed.
It doesn’t matter how long a war crime was committed against humanity but the measure thing is that they must be brought to face the ICC panel and that is what the Kosovo war crime president has suggested that the four ex-Kosovo leaders will be facing their war crime trial by all means.
