Honestly speaking, I didn’t have any motive of reporting any news today but I just did. This is because when I was going through the news in Nigeria today, I saw the headline and was moved to report how Nigeria is turning into a country that I never knew before.
Come to think of it, the killing of priests and other Christians in Nigeria is becoming worrisome day by day. How can a catholic priest be burnt to ashes and they were no intervention from the police division at his residence? Imagine that the bandits spent all the time pouring petrol on the building where Very Reverend Father Isaac Achi was hiding, set the building on fire, and even waited for hours for the building to finish burning with the catholic priest. My question is where were the security agents during this hour of bandits' attack that led to the killing of Very Reverend Father Isaac Achi?
Today in Nigeria, we live in a country where no one is secure again. When sleeping in your home, going to work, traveling, or going to any gatherings, you will always be scared not to be attacked and harmed by any terrorist and bandits groups.
In conclusion, I hope that the killing in Nigeria should reduce. But I think that the Federal, State, and Local Governments need to give out positive orders to the security operatives within Niger and other states across Nigeria. All the arm forces across Nigeria need to join hands together to fight insecurity. This will assure the life and property safety of the citizens.
