War crimes have now been taken seriously unlike years ago when people mainly civilians will be maltreated and sometimes killed illegally. The International Criminal Court has made it possible for such cases to be monitored nationwide through its war crime investigators and makes sure that such offenders are punished. In this regard, a Jewish group in Germany has filed a war crime targeting Yair Lapid the Israeli prime minister, and Benny Gantz the defense minister over the killing of civilians that also took the lives of children during last year’s 11 days attack in East Jerusalem.
The group who filed the war crime claimed that they are the true voice of the Middle East peacemakers for the Jewish and the main reason for filing the case is to make sure that the criminal act committed by the Israeli prime minister and its defense minister during a Gaza Strip last year and August this year against innocent civilians are to be reviewed by the ICC because to them Israeli claim that the operation was done in accordance of law and equity are all fallacy.

The group also claimed that even if the Israelis were launching an attack on Palestinian Islamic Jihad due to a rocket launch that was displayed that it shouldn’t have warranted the Israeli to carry out such a high level of attack that affected a good number of civilians that knows nothing.
The group who filed the war crime case against the two Israeli leaders also pointed out the 2014 attack on the Gaza Strip claiming that Gantz was chief of staff during the six weeks operation in 2014 that the operation to over 1,500 including 500 children Palestinian civilians killed by Israel. The group also claimed that since Gantz boasted of bombing Gaza that he must be brought to justice by the ICC.
In response to the war crime case filed against the two Israeli top leaders, a UN High Commissioner for Human Rights quoted that it’s very wrong to launch an attack that will directly or indirectly kill or affect civilian properties.
