well I guess we can say that this worked. I think that high levels of discipline can be really important for some people, places, or even entire societies. There was a guy I knew who was in trouble and causing mayhem almost anywhere and everywhere and then one day he was just gone. I guess he got expelled from school and a choice had to be made - he was an absolute terror at school to teachers and other students so he had to go.... But years later I would run into him in a military school uniform and he was a totally different person. I'm sure that he went into that situation thinking he was going to resist there as well, but they got him. I hope things ended up good for him because the guy in the uniform was a totally different dude than I had known that was terrorizing the hallways of the elementary and middle school.
