An office that is part of the Tufts' administration, Office of the Chief Diversity Officer, is running a series of events during the Fall semester of 2022 named "Dialogue Series". That series itself is broken up into "Radical Healing Dialogue Series" and "Unpacking Whiteness Dialogue Series." I am not sure what it is they intend to heal from - presumably, some sort of vicious abuse everyone who is not White is suffering at the hands of ruthless White racist oppressors afflicted with Whiteness, of course.
As reported by Fox News,
An event description for the "Radical Healing Dialogue Series" states that the eight sessions, which run from Oct. 17 through Dec. 12, "creates an important, safe space for staff and faculty at Tufts whose racial demographics are categorized as "BIPOC."
Does any of this hurt your brain? I hope so - not because I wish pain on you but because if you are a normal, logical human being you should not be able to read this and not feel confused and possibly disturbed. But yes, it is indeed true - a major, almost certainly taxpayer-supported institution of higher learning feels like it is OK to enforce the notion of inclusion and racial equality by, well, race-based exclusion and segregation.
No that that is the only type of segregation that is gaining steam in the US. Medical apartheid is also now a thing - yes,you can be denied a job or even a meal at a restaurant on account of not having not agreed to a COVID vaccination, even though said vaccination is officially admitted to not slow down the transmission of the virus.
This is what our society is evolving into. This is very far from the ideas of the age of Enlightenment. And this trend is also something we may want to stop before we roll right down into new Middle Ages.
