It was on the 24th February 2022, that I was finally beaten into submission. I woke on a Thursday morning to find the curtain had come down on the Covid nonsense and a new show — the Ukraine war — had begun. Surgical masks were out and Ukrainian flags were in. I don’t read news anymore. Much like yourself, I tend my garden, read fiction, and binge on crossword puzzles.
