Once social media became a weaponized way of altering public opinion it was always going to go downhill. I see it is already in the comments here but once the arguing started, mostly about politics, I was fed up with it. I still have messenger because my older relatives don't communicate by anything else even though we have tried and tried to get them to do so. Old habits!
