It is very sad incident that place in Nigeria as at 2nd May 2022, when an a Nigerian Army, A.M Linus, a first class army and his wife was beheaded fresh and live as they were heading to their marriage ceremony in Imo State of Nigeria. The Unknown Gunmen invaded the couple's house, raped the wife, made a video of them and beheaded them in Imo State. This incident took place during the couple's Honey moon few days after their wedding. The Nigerian Army Couple In Imo State who were still enjoying the dividend of marriage was slaughtered by heartless gunmen who were very tactical in their ambition over the years. This has shocked people as their heads were taken off their body. This is a slap to both Nigerian Government and Nigerian Government. They even Threaten to kill the couple's family Members who were with the couple.
The sad incident took on Saturday just after day of the wedding. They caught in their very home which brought an end to the couple, the Unknown Gunmen attacked and seriously raped the wife before the army and shot on them till they're dead then beheaded the couple while only threatening to kill the family members but not touched any before they flee away.
This has become the terrible state of Nigerian security that even at home, citizens are not safe. Many soldiers have lost their lives to this similar incident over years which makes many of the security officers to scared of internal aggression. According to Nigerian Arm Forces, their targets are more of external aggression then internal but they are still going to be muted over this increasing rate of dead daily. The dead of A.M Linus, a sergeant first class in the army and wife were on their way to Imo State is a call to awake because there's tendency for such to take place just as before. The attacks on Nigeria armed men have increased especially in the South-East part of the country in recent times. The attacks are always on security agencies and mostly government facilities
It seems like to be planned attack on the couple as the Unknown Gunmen called the family members to mock them as they were succeeding in beheading the couple. They gunmen made a gory video of the incident which showed how they were playing with the couple's heads by the couple's head on their chests, what terrible act of terrorists in the country.
“It’s so sad that we soldiers are no safer, the man was a member of the 19 regular intakes while the wife was of the 79RI. They were on their way to Imo state on Saturday when the incident happened. You won’t believe these gunmen as we speak still used their phones to make calls to their family members, making jest of them and threatening to kill them as well. This couple just married recently, even their photoshoot caused a lot of criticism and seems they were punished for it. Though the man is married to another woman with grown-up kids, he suddenly eloped with this young soldier, I was told the girl also had kids before joining the army as well. The man still has a father, his brother is also a soldier working at a battalion in Kaduna. The lady was also raped before they were beheaded,”
meanwhile, the Unknown Gunmen opened fire on military men at Agulu in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra state just of recent which leads to the dead of soldier during the fight.
