Well, that's the headline they'd like to have run!
In August 2021 the propaganda covered a story about a nurse ‘Antje T’ in Germany who had given her patients saline shots instead of the vaccination. The headlines all claim she gave saline shots to nearly 8,600-10,000 over 70s.
The vials were allegedly replaced between March and April 2021 at the Roffhausen immunisation centre in Friesland as announced on Facebook (yes really) by the Friesland district administrator, Sven Ambrosy. He went on to say it was his “sad duty” to inform around 8,600 people may be affected and recommended for “peace of mind” they get another vaccination.
However, local authorities and the Lower Saxony State Health Office went one further and called on all Germans who had their jab at this centre during this time, to come forward and get another jab, calling this a “fraud”.
The police investigation uncovered that the nurse was “motivated to oppose the vaccination”, but according to CNN where unable to know the extent to which she was “manipulated”. As if to oppose this vaccination implies you have been unduly influenced by those “anti-vaxxers”.
The defence from the nurses lawyer state that she had broken a vial and had replaced it with saline to keep her job. Stating it had been a one-off. Investigators suspect the nurse had done this many times more and she was fired from her job and had her nursing licence revoked. They noted she had aired sceptical views on social media. Plus their case rested on the nurse’s position being in charge of the vaccine and syringe preparations during her shift.
Her claim that she had only given six people the saline shot was apparently undermined by testing people for antibodies, which confirmed authorities suspicions that it had been more than six people affected.
The lawyer claims no political motive. Instead the nurse had covered a broken vial with six saline shots. Saline shots which are not harmful to people.
There was also admittedly no indication that severe Covid infections occurred as a result of saline solutions.
So maybe this was not the anti-vaxxer nurse of the headlines after all?
Initially the nurse was charged with 15 counts of intentional assault but nine were dropped due to no evidence. She was found guilty of six counts of intentional assault by Oldenberg criminal court, Lower Saxony on Nov 30 and received six months probation.
The reporting continues as if she was a strident anti-vaxxer who had denied thousands of people prevention from a “deadly virus”. In reality she was reported by a colleague who saw her use the saline solution on six people.
Her biggest crime though seems to be “openly” expressing scepticism regarding the pandemic. Court spokesperson Torben Toelle said;
The accused had shared various conspiracy theories on the Internet and on social media.
Must be responsible then, whether you laud her actions or despise them.
Yet, to continue to administer vaccines now when there is plenty of evidence these are killing and causing injury to thousands is that not intentional assault?
It also shows we shouldn’t be so quick to jump on the bandwagon.
We may wish that the nurse had acted for consciously political reasons, but then again she may not. I'd like to think if she had she would have proudly admitted it? Still few people are prepared to risk long prison stretches to oppose this vaccination programme.
Her case could have been one hinging on the relative safety and effectiveness of the vaccines. Instead she may have been following lawyers orders, including issuing an apology in court.
Ultimately, the case hinged on testimony from a colleague, her ability to change the vials and the airing of sceptical views. Stating she injected vials of saline into thousands of “at risk” people is unproven and I think an example of yet another “anti-vaxxer” story.
