Eugenics originated in Great Britain and it is an ideology that holds deep roots here. The word eugenics comes to us from the Greek meaning eu (good) and genos (birth), in other words well born or more scientifically phrased good genes.
Ex-Prime Minister Boris Johnson acknowledged in a 2007 Telegraph article that he believes Global Over-Population Is The Real Issue.
There was a time, in the 1960s and 1970s when people such as my father, Stanley, were becoming interested...it was perfectly respectable to talk about saving the planet by reducing the growth in the number of human beings.
Stanley Johnson, it should be noted, was a banker at the World Bank and head of the Prevention of Pollution Division for the EU Commission. By ‘prevention of pollution’ though we must see how this concept was bound up in his eugenicist thinking. In other words his commitment to reducing population growth.
In an interview with the Guardian in 2012 he said;
You have to get population under control...In Britain I would put it at 10 or 15 million...That would do us splendidly...The government of this country has to start talking seriously about immigration...there is a really serious differential between the fertility of the immigrant population to, what you might call, the indigenous population.
Further evidence of the continued association between the ruling class and eugenics ideology comes from the attendance of the London Conference on Intelligence in 2017 of British social commentator Toby Young. He envisions a "progressive eugenics" and praised Hernstein's and Murray's book The Bell Curve. Also in attendance was Emil Kirkegaard, a promoter of what has been referred to as scientific racism.
Historical Roots
It was Francis Galton, Darwin’s half cousin, who in the 1880s became, in his own words, the father of eugenics. He created an intelligence test along with so-called statistical tools to assign and grade his fellow human beings. These were based on fundamental ideas of regression and correlation. By using the principles of Darwinian selection he hoped to avert the “Anglo-Saxon decay”.
Breeding should be allowed amongst the intelligent, those especially of his own class, who were by default more intelligent. More sinister though is the argument that there should be a prevention of breeding by those afflicted by “lunancy, feeble-mindedness, habitual criminality and pauperism”. Yes being poor was the result not of circumstances but due to bad genes that needed to be expunged from the stock. Persons of colour were automatically assumed to be inferior.
It doesn’t take a genius to see how this philosophy was adopted by the Nazis and put into effect to create their master race.

So deeply embedded was this eugenicist culture that England had important writers like DH Lawrence writing about a “lethal chamber” to which he’d bring the sick, the halt and the maimed gathered from the streets whilst a brass band played the Hallelujah Chorus. This was in 1908. In 1910 Winston Churchill wrote to the Prime Minister of the time, Asquith, warning of;
the unnatural and increasingly rapid growth of Feeble-minded and Insane classes...is a danger to the race.
In 1915 Virginia Woolf wrote in her diary;
...on the tow-path we met and had to pass a long line of imbeciles...They should certainly be killed.
Of course this is intimately bound up with ideas of Empire and superiority to rule over others, and by extension race, as the people ruled over where by and large people of colour. These ideas extended across the channel to the Anglo-American empire.
Malthusianism

Eugenics is also tied strongly to Malthusian doctrines. In Britain in 1798 the economist Rev. Thomas Robert Malthus published an essay entitled An Essay on the Principle of Population as it affects the Future Improvement of Society. His scientific theory was that population would grow exponentially and outstrip the food supply. This would result in food riots. He concluded that human population must be controlled.
The links here are obvious to see. This can be conclusively shown in Darwin’s preface to the Origin of Species;
An application of the theories of Malthus to the entire animal and vegetable kingdom.
In the 1920s and 30s a key contributor to the Eugenics Review was the biologist Julian Huxley, the genteel and popular face of Darwinism. he wrote;
We must be able…to pick out the genetically inferior stock [in humanity] with progress and we must set in motion counter-forces making for faster reproduction of superior stocks.
Huxley and others campaigned regularly for a voluntary sterilization bill to be brought into British law; such a bill would financially encourage those deemed to be mentally or physically “unfit” to undertake a voluntary sterilization procedure.
The USA
In the US these ideologies became expressed when in 1922 the American Eugenics Society was formed with the generous support of the members of the Galton Society of America. The US engaged in a mass forced sterilisation programme in which the poor were viewed as feckless, imbecilic or degenerate.
More than 60,000 young people were sterilized against their knowledge such as 14 year old Virginia Brooks who was led to believe she was having her appendix out whilst in fact they gave her a hysterectomy.

It received support at the highest levels of society. The eugenics agenda was promoted by the likes of the Rockefeller and Carnegie foundations. One member of the American Eugenics Society was Margaret Sanger who went on to become the founder of Planned Parenthood. Naturally Sanger presented birth control as primarily an issue of female emancipation hiding her true population control ideology.
Whilst I’m not arguing against birth control, we should be aware that the intentions behind the scenes are not as altruistic as they would like us to think, and there are those who oppose Planned Parenthood on that basis. Indeed, this hiding behind supposedly humanitarian aims is key to unlocking the eugenicist agenda, especially in more modern times.
In Sanger’s own words;
All of our problems are the result of overbreeding among the working class...those human weeds which threaten the blooming of the finest flowers of American civilization…
In 1952 John D Rockefeller III set up and headed the Population Council. In 1957 Rockefeller was replaced by Frederick Osborne who had help set up Planned Parenthood and was the co-founder of the American Eugenics Society. Despite it’s clear connections to eugenics the organisation hid behind altruism.
From it’s beginning, the Council has given voice and visibility to the world’s most vulnerable people...We work in developed countries, where we use state-of-the-art biomedical science to develop new contraceptives and products to prevent the transmission of HIV.
On the face of it there is nothing wrong with their declared aims. It is only when you understand that the people leading these organisations believe that population control of the masses is the dominant issue and will employ “science” to promote it.
Let me illustrate this further by returning to the UK. The UK Family Planning Association was founded in 1939 by the National Birth Control Council. Then chairman was Dr Charles Vickery Drysdale, who was then also chairman of the Malthusian League. Both Drysdale and Marie Stopes cited Sanger as a key influence on their views.
I think it is fair to say that the intellectual circles of the UK and the US are quite tight.
Germany
In 1935 Marie Stopes attended the Third Reich’s International Congress for Population Science. In fact she penned this for Hitler;
Catholics and Prussians, The Jews and the Russians, are all a curse, or something worse...
The Rockefellers too supported the German eugenicists by funding the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute. The Institute’s head of research was Ernst Rudin who helped draft the 1933 Law for the Prevention of Offspring with Hereditary Diseases. Which took inspiration and precedent from the US’s sterilization programmes.
Racial hygiene was built on the myth of racial purity, on Galtonian tiers of value, based on pseudoscience. It became the basis for the scientific justification for the removal of lebensunwertes Lebens (lives unworthy of life) from the gene pool. This included feeble-mindedness, bipolar, schizophrenia, epilepsy, Huntington’s, blindness, deafness, severe malformation and alcoholism.
By 1935 with the Nuremberg Race Laws the Nazis had extended this list to include homosexuals, Roma, and Jehovah’s Witnesses. So, under fascism, doctors who were under oath to do no harm, were turned into heroes and the custodians of racial purity.
Under Nazi rule eugenics was carried out to it’s final expression/solution and the world became embroiled in World War Two. Not surprisingly, after the war eugenics was a dirty word. However, as we have already seen the proponents of eugenics and Malthusian ideology were more than capable of presenting themselves as altruists.
Re Branding
Eugenicist Frederick Osborne, now a serving board member of the Population Council, said in 1968;
Measures for improving the hereditary base of intelligence and character can be made effective on a voluntary basis without arousing in the individual any conscious concern for eugenic results. It is well that this is so. Eugenics goals are most likely to be attained under a name other than eugenics.
The focus shifted away from racial purity and back to over population issues.
A little known fact is that key eugenicists were intimately connected to the founding of the United Nations following World War Two. Again, as with Planned Parenthood there was a an agenda behind the seemingly altruistic movement. As Julian Huxley wrote in UNESCO's preparatory commission document;
It is, however, essential that eugenics should be brought entirely within the borders of science, for,...the problem of improving the average quality of human beings...
This is not to say that everyone who works at or all the activities of the UN are eugenicist. However, the crucial point is that the people in charge have undeclared ambitions and possess the means to control the scientific and academic research channels.
In 1968 Paul and Anne Ehrlich published The Population Bomb.
The battle to feed humanity is over. In the 1970s and 1980s hundreds of millions will starve to death.
In an interview with the New York Times in 1969 he said;
Government might have to put sterility drugs in reservoirs and in food shipped to foreign countries to limit human multiplication.
In 1968 a think tank called the Club of Rome convened on Rockefeller’s private estate. In 1972 they issued an influential treatsie termed The Limits To Growth. This used computer modelling to “prove” the world was overpopulated.
Time and again through history we can see that these Malthusian elites based their ideas on pseudoscience.
In 1972 the American Eugenics Society became the Society for the Study of Social Biology. In 1989 the British Eugenics Society changed it’s name to the Galton Institute.
In 1991 the Club of Rome published the First Global Revolution. It expressed the core ideological belief that;
The real enemy then is humanity itself.
The man behind the Club of Rome is David Rockefeller, whose brother founded the Population Council, spoke to the UN in 1994;
The United Nations can and should play an essential role in helping the world find a satisfactory way of stabilising the world population.

It needs to be brought out that they, the powers that be, do consider themselves to be a breed apart (good genetic stock) and that the population they speak of stabilising they regard as little better than livestock (the herd). This flows from a deep seated and long standing ideological belief in Malthusian eugenics.
There’s one individual who holds eugenicist beliefs that I haven’t mentioned yet and that is Bill Gates. This centuries David Rockefeller. He and his wife Melinda have both stated their beliefs publicly. As one of the world’s richest people and who, through the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), are amongst the primary funders of the WHO and most of their subsidiaries it is important to be aware of their private agendas.
In 1999 shortly before funding the BMGF Bill Gates stated in an interview with George magazine;
I fund education projects, I fund population control.
Since 2017 the BMGF have donated millions to Planned Parenthood and millions to the Population Council. In a TED talk in 2010 Gates said;
The world today has 6.8 billion people. That’s headed up to about nine billion. Now, if we do a really great job on new vaccines, health care, reproductive health services, we could lower that by, perhaps, 10 or 15 per cent.
Exactly how new vaccines could lower global population isn’t very clear here?
In an interview with CBS News in 2010 Melinda speaks in regard to her work in Africa;
If you get into this work and you start to save these children will women just keep overpopulating the world? Thank goodness the converse is absolutely true...In fact the population rate is coming down faster than predicted 10 years ago.
The eugenics strain within the ruling class continues to exist and evolve.
There have been numerous innovators in the field of genetics. A sci-fi dream perhaps, but there are those working towards the possibilities of creating designer babies. Think of the movie Gattaca. For example, Stephen Hsu who created a genetic testing company for embryos called Genomic Prediction. He prophesised that IQ could be raised in the same way as broiler chickens had been bred to quadruple their size. In 2018 He Jianksu used the CRISPR-Cas9 tool to edit the genes of two embryos before implanting them in a woman in China. His attempt to create a “DNA condom” against HIV failed. Accused of careless execution, incomplete, with off-target edits and resultant genetic mosaaicism.
Just as in the past, eugenicists rely on pseudoscience. In reality our genetic makeup is very complicated. At least 22 genes are implicated in the condition of bipolar alone.
In Adam Rutherford’s book Control, The dark history and troubling present of eugenics he concludes by saying how we contain moral multitudes and that many of us would have gone along with eugenics in the first half of the twentieth century. I think this conclusion has been borne out by how many have let themselves be part of an untested medical experiment driven by eugenicist like Bill Gates. How in the last two years Doctors, sworn to do no harm, have pushed a vaccine that is killing and injuring thousands.
Debate over over-population concerns, death panels, healthcare rationing, enforced euthanasia, compelled abortion, mass sterilization programmes have all been hidden behind faux scientific credibility. Eugenicists today are to be found in new terms like Bioethics and in organisations like EcoHealth Alliance whilst carrying out biological experiments.
Indeed one of the developers of the Astra-Zeneca vaccine Adrian Hill has direct links to the Galton Institute, the re-branded eugenicist organisation afore mentioned. The other developer Sarah Hill is linked to the Wellcome Trust. The charitable wing of GlaxoSmithKline, the Wellcome Trust, is another organization with ties to the British eugenicist movement.
Vice President of the Galton Institute Professor Dian Donnal (and others) wrote in Nature Magazine, The rise of point-of-care genetics: how the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic will accelerate adoption of genetic testing in the acute setting, and discusses within it that collaborating with industry, molecular point of care tests could result in a new testing paradigm where genotype is used to routinely tailor management care.
Reading between the lines, as we should knowing their history, this suggests to me the ruling elite are looking at new ways to define us by genetic coding and integrate us into a Biosecurity State over which they will hold the powers of access and determine if you are worthy of treatment. In other words, Digital IDs and vaccine status will determine your ability to access society.
When it comes down to it historically eugenicist ideology has always played it’s role in reinforcing the elites idea of themselves as something superior and set apart. Maybe that’s how they convince themselves that it is fair and equal that they hold a disproportionate share of the wealth and power in society. At least this is the eugenicist dream.
