Indeed, life is full of ironies. Our plans and thoughts do not work out the way we envisage. No wonder, I do hear people say, " Man proposes, and God disposes. Other times, they said time waits for no man. When you critically look into those sayings, they are not mere words. Whenever they are said, it is either in regret of a mistake, or as advice to avoid impending doom.
A certain man was prudent in business and careful with his spending. People tag him a stingy man. His siblings were also not happy with the way he was not spending money on them and other family matters. One day, his mother approached him, and he simply told her that he was saving funds for his future wife. He goes further to say that he wouldn’t want his family to experience the kind of hardship he witnessed while growing up. The mother and the family tried to convince him to no avail, and they all let him with his thoughts and plans.
Eventually, he got married, and before long, he sent his wife and his children abroad. He was also spending and taking good care of them. One day, rumours had it that the wife had abandoned the marriage and walked away. While he was narrating the story, sharing his disbelief. He ended up with this same statement. ‘What an irony of life.

Though life has taught him an unforgettable lesson. To live in the moment and leave tomorrow to take care of itself. It is a reminder to everyone to live in the moment and stop expecting too much for our tomorrows.
Additionally, we must learn how to plan, set goals, and improve steadily; that way, we strike a balance between our today and tomorrow to avoid such negative. Remember, a lifetime is working time. Therefore, we have to take care of our health and mental sanity to enable us to live in our tomorrow.
