Just like our roads in Nigeria been a problem for us the citizens, electricity is not left out ooo. Though bad roads contributed a lot to loss of life but then bad supply of electricity to doesn't do less because a business that fold because electric is not in advantage and the cost spending on petrol or diesel is more than the profit made at the end of the day, when someone livelihood is gone, isn't that person dead? They are a lot of people that souls are dead but body are living.
It is either you lack electricity supply in your area or electricity is constant and a very high bills is issued to you . In our area now, if you are using direct ,IBEDEC ,that's the company supplying electricity here , they bring bill of #65k per month. Imagine ,a building ooo, whether you have five apartments or just one apartment as far as you connected with one wire to the pole ,you pay the same amount. While there are some areas here that pay 30k or lesser for a month, that's bcos they don't have constant light. It's usually group to Band A,Band B and so on ,so Band A is believe to have more constant light.
Areas that have constant light now suffer high bills of house rent, landlords in that area believe they are celebrity, everyone will love to have constant light.
To see someone that even collect that amount as salary is not common, Even if they collect will they use it on electricity bill alone ?
Anytime I'm writing about this country , I just always get annoyed thinking about the stress and hustle we citizens go through to survive. Our country would have been the best but we never have good governance.
Will Nigeria be better? I can't say bcos it not looking promising.
