Everyday we spend,from purchasing food to airtime, subscription,order of foods, Uber for transportation and so on, we just go about spending on something every day, of course as long as we are living we got to spend to keep our life going because nothing enjoyed comes free maybe some was free in the past like our parent era then where I was told he just have to go to the backyard cut some vegetables and peppers and ofcourse there is always yam flour at home, because once they harvest yam ,they ground and store it but in our era now, we buy everything and even at high prices .
These spendings might look small but then they tell on our financial life as each day comes and go, spending habits should not be looked over because money just split away without insignificantly at one event. You will just realize that the money you use a whole month to collected cannot be found again in your account after just few spendings you call little. If you use the system like my sis do you, I worked for my money so, I should spend it, then you will be suffering just a week into another month.
From childhood, I'm someone that doesn't spend recklessy on things, I can control my cravings,I love saving and investing it on something tangible especially tools, I buy one quality clothes or shoe instead of 10 cheap clothes, most people don't understand that logic. Oh, my I don't remember when last I spend on my wants, I'm always after what I really need, I list a lot of things I need and take it one after the other according how most important they are. I make sure I don't spend my last kobo,in case of emergency because I hate to borrow,I feel embarrassed asking people to borrow me money or sort. I don't feel pressured from the society that wants me to do fake life, I know my worth and I know what's the best choice for me. I don't wear latest designer, you can never see me, most of my clothes are first grade I printed used clothes, yes and I slay them and people still ask where I got my wears. I don't do competition.
This has really helped me in my achievement, My skill tools I have gotten today,my colleague who has more than I do , don't have it because they don't care about what they spend money on as soon as they see money,so it now look like I have money more than they do, which is a lie.
The only issue I'm battling but I have been getting better at it is lending people money ,why will I save to lend people who dont return it. The issue I have is I so much hate disappointment which is why I don't like to ask for help,I don't want to hear "No" reason why when people come to me and I can afford it I fell somehow saying "No" but I'm getting better now, since I have been used so many times. I'm learning to say No now .
