Curiosity sometimes kills the cat and that's what makes us human- the wanting to know the unknown. If there was a planet identical to ours and I could reach it, there's a high probability I'd want to go. Sometimes for educational purposes, wanting to learn of the history and culture of this new mother earth, or for the beauty of exploring as long as there is a portal where I could travel to and back the mother earth I live in. There are a few reasons why I'll want to visit this new dimension of earth and I believe every human has that instinct.

First, for curiosity. Humans, especially the adventurous ones like myself, have this instinct of wanting to know what lies on the other end. I'm fascinated by new findings as long as the risk wouldn't cost a life. What could possibly be there? A dinosaur? Some strange species of human race, Or humans like us?. If these questions are not satisfied, I may still have this longing that never ends. So l species of people or animals that live in it and what kind of trade happens in this new world that's identical to ours.
Secondly, and probably the final, the desire to change location. I've lived on earth for a few years and need a change, to have access to a new history and culture and to live a new life which is totally different from the one I'm used to. It's like an opportunity presented to me to start a new life somewhere, and I'll gladly accept it. Learn a new culture, forget my past and forge ahead with something new that the new world presented to me. As long as I find comfort in wanting to change location and feel safe about it , I'll definitely go into the portal to visit this new dimension of the earth.
