Every parent's desire is to have children that they will be proud of. Sometimes, it's as if they should be the ones to craft and design the children to their taste but you know that can only be a wish.
However, if I have the privilege to decide the traits of my children, honestly I will be very happy and I will ensure that they have nothing but the best.
One of the traits that I would love my kids to possess is the resilient spirit. Even though, I was not born with this trait, experience and trials of life gave it to me.
We live in a world where only the tough and those who don't give up end up becoming winners. Whether we like it or not, difficult moments confront us at one point or the other, our ability to keep going even in the midst of those challenges is what will determine whether we will be successful or not.
Life won't be easy on anyone, not even my kid, even if I need to become very wealthy, and they have all they want in life, there would be areas of life where they would need to apply resilience to scale through.
For physical looks
Complexion isn't a problem with me, whether dark skin or light skin, anyone is okay but I want my children to be tall.
I have this small body structure and it's really dealing with me. I am not complaining but sometimes, I used to wish I were tall, whenever I tell people my age they doubt it because of how smallish and young I look.
Again, I lost some opportunities, especially to join the army because of my height.
Another thing that is very disturbing in the world today is the genotype. Some parents wish they had magic to change that of their children but unfortunately, we don't have that power.
For genotype, I want my children to be AS and also have 0+ blood group. A lot of people are going through hell as a result of genotype and blood group. I wouldn't like my children to be victims of that.
Lastly, I want my children to be intelligent, smart, generous, decent, and God-fearing. We live in a world where decency and the fear of God are dying out. Morality is no longer the deal of the day, in fact, it is regarded as old fashion.
I don't want to have children who would see right as wrong and tread in the way of society.
