This week's prompt is very funny, sincerely I wasn't ready for the laugh, but it just came always. Have you ever skipped a particular street or compound because of a dog? I could remember when I was a kid, there was a street I was always afraid to pass because of the dog there, whenever I was to pass there, it's either I run or I wait for someone to come so we could pass through otherwise I might be there for hours looking at the beautiful street.
One day I was returning from an errand, was passing through that street and I saw the dog with her puppy but she was actually sleeping,I could remember the joy I had inside of me that day as I passed through the street running. After escaping that day I thought it would be the same the next time, as usual I was passing because I always pass there to buy something, then I looked at the street and saw no dog then I began to move gently,( my first mistake), and within a short while I saw the dog looking at me from behind, I could imagine her thought she will be like "Are you no longer afraid of me? Who do you think you are?". Immediately I began to run and she chased after me and gave me my first dog bite on my leg. I shouted and cried then she ran back and I ran home crying with my injured leg.
But to my greatest surprise the dog became afraid of me, I became the boss of the dog, whenever she sees me and wants to chase me I stand and wait for her to come. Most times I wonder if such dogs have dreams because if they do I don't think they will be acting like that,I believe a dog like that always have nightmares not dreams, maybe they will be attending a hard military training there or losing a fight against someone, so that's why they always appear wicked physically.
Dreams are meant for calm cats, dogs or any other good looking pet,I believe that the rest don't have dreams, they have nightmares always not just once but every day they sleep, except they die that's when they stop have nightmares.
