It is easy for people to make decisions based on what they see but when they find themselves in that situation it becomes difficult for them to actually know what they are doing whether it is right or wrong. I have always said it when people are not experiencing your kind of situation it is easy to give judgment or opinions because they are not experiencing first hand your situation.
So the case of healthy and unhealthy desires is one that is born out of the fact that every human is driven by the power to Desire something no matter how big or little it might be. There is a clear difference between healthy desires and unhealthy desires.
Firstly, a healthy Desire should be something that you as a person wants to accomplish and be fulfilled for. These kind of desires tend to fuel your growth to improve and upgrade your self worth. For instance, as a career woman you tend to uphold skills and certifications that allow you to grow in your area of expertise and in a sense you enjoy what you actually do. You notice that there is no pressure whatsoever and you are at peace with it.
However, an unhealthy desire is one that feels like life is choking you and draining life out of you. It goes to show that whatever you have involved yourself in is bringing pressure and restlessness. For instance, imagine taking up a job because you have been jobless for quite a while and in this job it goes against your ethics and values as a human being but you just want to stay through because you need the money. This has become an unhealthy Desire because you feel stagnant and lack composure.
