I had to tittle my post that way cause I'll emphatically choose a physical library and reading a physical book a million times over, just a few days ago I was talking about this with my friend and I told him I have quite a number of books on my laptop and phone but I can't really read using these gadgets, I can't stay focused I can just let go easily and stop reading, so I told him I prefer reading physical books because handling the books feels different than reading an e-copy were one is easily distracted with notifications and desire to watch or do something else
I've actually tried reading some e_books recently but the truth is I don't think I have the skin for it, I really don't have the discipline to stay reading an e_book, most times i won't finish it...
I recall late last year I started reading the psychology of money the e_copy and I actually read to an extend till now I can't recall how and where I stopped, I just realise I have stopped,
Reading a book requires some level of discipline, that's why you rarely see people this days read, talkless of e book that is not even physical, the reason why I prefer hard copy books is because, even when I forget to read just seeing the books lying around will prompt me to pick it up and read.
if there was a last and only library available on earth and since we're in the digital age this library is gradually going obsolete if I happen to discover this library I will buy it off and the librarian as well because I believe the librarian has better years of experience and value of the books that anybody else and so I will opt to buy this library and the librarian instead, because personally I love to read books physically and stay consistent at reading, and not rely on some e copy stuff, cause what if I misplaced my phone or it get stolen that means everything is gone.
so I'll opt to buy and read physical books than go online.....
