I got this power bank of 20000mAh with a little solar pannel to enable me charge my phone with or without powersupply.
I know charging directly from sunlight would be slow but atleast, I'll still get some very useful percent.
I got it not up to 3 months, but till now I don't understand why it's not charging under the sun. Most times I keep it very high on the fence, just so that it'll be above ground level and charge but no, I'll still go pick it the way I dropped it there, hot but low.
I'm still wondering what the problem is, like, is this not suppose to charge under the sun or maybe I'm not placing it rightly.
We're not always on powersupply and that's why I decided to get this one with a little solar pannel, but I'm kinda regretting it now. It doesn't even charge my phone from 0% till 70%, let alone 100%.
But this one, this black one, would charge my phone like 5 to 7 times from 0 to the 100%. Though it doesn't have a solar panel but it's still 20000mAh.
Is it because of the size? Or the price?
Cos the difference between the prices was only 1k.
I can't seem to understand why same 20000mAh, one would last and the other not. I understand that they're of different companies, but still.
Maybe the white one I got is fake, because why on earth would it not charge under the sun.. Maybe I'm missing something.
To think that I argued with my mum, that she should forget size and that my little white power bank would last more that her black itel power bank.
I took it back to the store where I got it from and they were like, put it under the sun for a very long time if possible a whole day. And I was like, me that leaves the power bank under sun for like 2 days, when it's night I take it inside and leave it unused till the next day when I'll take it out side again for the whole day.
I'm so tired, I wouldn't even bother, if we were having enough power supply to charge it but no light.
What should I do guys?
Someone should please explain to me why it's like this.
Is this solar panel just decoration?
Is it even possible for small solar panels to truly work?
Am I missing something technical?
P.s: I'm really confused about it.
