Today i will me discussing on immunization and it's importants.
Immunization which is a process of introducing a vaccine into the body to boost the body system immunity is really a great thing because it helps the body system and it's immunity if not the body immune system will be compromised due to some outbreak of some diseases.
Meanwhile it is now a great concern that some people don't really care about the immunization programmes that are been advertised steady , this immunization advertisment is not just to watch and ignore but rather it is to creat awareness of the various vaccines we have and it functions and the kind of disease it prevents.
Many has fall victim of ignorance of this vaccines and thereby putting themselves and their children into the danger of some infection meanwhile this is something that could have been controlled if they have taken the vaccines.
Many pregnant women have caused their fetus a lot in utero environment such as malformation and some congenital problems due to ignorance of some of the vaccines in which they have failed to take during their period of pregnancy, example of this vaccines include the TT vaccine which is known as tetanus toxoid vaccines which is now TD (tetanus/diphtheria) vaccine, ignorance of this particular vaccine has really caused a lot of damage like whooping cough for the baby and also neonatal tetanus.
Ignorance of vaccines by the mothers bringing their children to the clinic for vaccinations or them been vaccinated has caused alot of maternal and infant morbidity and mortality damage.
It is very necessary that for the women you go for antenatal care, it is very necessary and there many things are been taught like the benefits of immunization both for the mother and the child and so many other things .
So please upcoming mothers and our women let take this taking of vaccines very serious both yours and your unborn or already born kids.
It is not that the vaccines are costly they are cheap and available in various health centers .
Because normally finance is one of the challenges child bearing mothers encounters most especially single mothers but the federal government has made it easier by providing this vaccines in various health centers where you can go and get yours many of them are free then if there is anyone that is not free the price will not be that much , is something anyone family can afford so let's not put the health of the infants at risk.
