One of the many sci-fi fantasies I have had over the years was to become a vampire. As bizarre as it sounds I feel I am really drawn to the whole mystery behind this fantasy. The only thing I do not like about them is the fact that they need human blood to survive and it is very easy for a vampire to be addicted to human blood. But then again, from the fantasies I know human blood isn’t the only type of blood they need to survive, and with technological advancement there will definitely be a fix to that.

Another issue I have with vampires is that they can’t move naturally under sunlight. But from the fantasies also, this has been fixed with them usually wearing a special ring or necklace that helps them. If I happen to have a vampire friend, I will totally want to know everything there is and understand all the speculations around them. I am not one to spill the beans, and for things as serious as this, I will make them understand that they can trust me. After understanding all there is to know, I would want to become a vampire but I would prefer to be one in my 40s.
The reason is because Vampires do not age, and I would rather look like a mature vampire than look like a boy who knows nothing while being over 300 years old. Yeah I would want to live long, travel around the world without the fear of sudden death like humans. I do not wish to fight anyone, and I even hear that vampire blood can heal humans and if I find that to be true, I would want to use mine for good. I know a time will come when living long will seem boring, but I will cross the bridge after I get there.
