In life we all have dreams that we are chasing, this is so as to be successful and fulfill purpose in life. Some people chase their dreams and at a point they are distracted, or they stop half way, or just abandon it totally because of various reasons.
We all want to be successful, so stopping half way while chasing our dreams should not be an option, at least to be successful. Now what is success? This has been a question that has existed for decades. People have different definitions of it, some see success as financial freedom, some as being wealthy with material possessions. In as much as this is not wrong, I would like to add to the above definitions that one is not totally successful if he or she acquires wealth and the wealth has no impact on anybody's life. Being successful means making wealth to cater for your needs and also helping others to stand well, meaning you impact their lives positively with your wealth.
Personally I am continuously chasing my dreams which I know one day will work out and I will be totally successful, then touch other lives positively. Although wealth is never enough and human needs are insatiable, we keep pursuing our dreams. If wealth was enough, people like Dangote, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg and other wealthy men would not still be working by now because they have already acquired a lot. This implies that human needs are insatiable and just like the Maslow hierarchy of needs, once a particular need is met another sets in, so chasing our dreams should never be stopped half way.
In summary, once we make wealth and that wealth also affects others positively, we can proudly say that we are successful.
