Greetings!
For someone like me who has tasted the life of technology, I would rather stick with the life full of technological advancements than going back to the simple life our ancestors once lived.
Even though, we might be of the opinion that these our great ancestors lived a simple life, I'm not of the same opinion that they lived a simple life, but a life full of stress and distress.
What's so simple about working hard to do things, to me, there's nothing good or simple in cultivating a farm land for months, something that technological machine would do in a twinkle of an eye.
Also, to me, there's no simple life in getting your message across to the other village or destination in a hard and time consuming manner or way, whereas, technology can just do it for within a second.
If the kind of life they lived back then was to them or to others a simple life, I would not want to live such kind of a lifestyle, but rather, live a life of technology where everything had been made easy for everyone.
Now, I can do everything through technology with ease, even aside from this, I now have the whole world at my palm, unlike when one would wait for ages to see one relative who has travelled or relocated to another place.
What technology has brought to us is a easy life which is devoid of any kind of hardship.
Although, there's other side of technology that are of a disadvantage to this generation, which one of them is laziness, but notwithstanding, I still prefer to live a life of technology than that of the life of our ancestors which many considered as simple but to me not as simple as people projected it to be.
