Today's topic is how nature, as we know it, is being destroyed. How we humans are exploiting nature for our own benefit. Nature has always been our home. Before technology, we relied on nature for everything. Whether we needed food, shelter, mountains, animals, or anything else, it all came from nature. But today, we are slowly drifting away from this connection without even realizing it. In the name of technology and development, we are cutting down vast forests, even those in protected areas. We are indiscriminately destroying places that were home to countless species and vital parts of the natural world. This is indirectly affecting us greatly because we are harming our animals, our environment, and disrupting the natural balance that we depend on.
Previously, whenever we woke up in the morning, we would see fresh air, birds chirping, and people going about their morning activities. But nowadays, when we wake up in the morning, we hear the heavy noise of traffic and phone ringing, which feels very overwhelming. The air quality has become very poor. There's a lot of pollution in the air, and nowadays, there are so many seasonal fluctuations, leading to health problems. Winters are becoming very short, summers are extremely hot, and rains can come at any time without any warning. We can see that nature is changing its mood, and this is a very bad sign for us. It signals that climate change is happening rapidly, and this will have a significant impact on us humans and our lifestyles.
Deforestation is the biggest reason for this vanishing act. We humans take wood and other resources from nature, but we don't give anything back. Let's say you need to build a house, which requires sacrificing 10 or 12 trees. But if you don't plant new trees in their place, and simply cut them down, that's completely wrong. Cutting down trees does have benefits; it leads to development and helps many people. But planting new trees is also a crucial task. Everyone says that if you cut down one tree, you should plant ten in its place. Only then will our ecosystem be saved from collapsing. But we are just cutting down trees, and because of this, the ecosystem is collapsing rapidly. Animals are losing their shelters, the soil is losing its fertility, and weather patterns are being disrupted. Millions of trees are being cut down for road building and industries, and we are severely damaging nature.
The second most important thing is Jesus, and everyone can talk about him. Major issues include God and pollution: air pollution, water pollution, and soil pollution. All of these have become very dangerous in today's world. Cities are contributing significantly to all of this. In cities today, cars emit CO2, which causes a lot of pollution. Rivers have become like dumping grounds. Factories release chemicals into them, and these are very harmful chemicals. The species living there are severely affected. The water is so polluted with these harmful chemicals. And then there's plastic. You could say it acts like cancer for nature because it never decomposes quickly. It will remain on the Earth's surface for millions of years. Since it doesn't decompose quickly, you can imagine how bad it is. Factories release waste into the water, which pollutes the water, destroying aquatic life and spreading diseases. We are only harming natural things in today's world, and we are not even noticing it.
