Indeed witness nodes are tremendously important for redundancy and stability of Hive. But don't we already have too many standby witnesses? A witness node that I've contributed a month ago (is yet to produce its first block, being so low in the queue) barely made it to top-250 and hive.blog don't even show that many witnesses so one can use hivehub or peakd interfaces to browse witnesses beyond top-200.
