My witness is back up and running and enabled again! Right now it's reporting stale as I've only just this second enabled it and it'll go back to normal once I produce a block which should be in a day or so.
Anyways.. I've done the maths now based on the new tarriffs and capped prices for electric here in the UK.
My server running at around 250w/h which it does most of the time running hive would cost me about £70 a month to run.
At my previous rank which was around active rank 84 I was making around $80 a month in witness rewards, since then my rank has dropped since being offline and also hives price isn't what it was back then if only down a little.
So I can probably make back a decent chunk of the costs, but generally I'm aiming to at least make $100 a month in witness rewards to cover the server running costs.
I'm currently running the latest release candidate of HF26 and it's going really nicely, already seeing the benefits of the performance improvements.
My goal is to reach around rank 70-80 at least. If you want to vote for my witness you are more then welcome!
