but why do you need to additionally reduce posting rewards to balance out?
I mean - we are now already lowering APR to balance Hive and HBD

why the hit on posting rewards?
over the years posting rewards became lower and lower
can you still remember when curation rewards were increased? also to incentivize Hive/ HP -> curation

at some point you will also get into the downward spiral if all content creators/ posters do not see the incentive/ enough reward anymore..

also, I do not see how people who buy HBD (with their BTC->Hive->HBD?) beat on those who back HBD value by working?
those buying HBD also back HBD value by buying -> directly putting in value

it is also not always about the short term
I've always posted more myself when Hive prices were down - cuz I then get more Hive for my same post and only need to wait until Hive value increased again
it's like some compounding
more efficient the worse it looks ^^

but also only if one mainly holds and saves like me and does not cash out (short term)..
