Assalamu Alaikum, I hope everyone is well. The joy of the festival is complete when you share that joy with your loved ones. And for Bengalis, Eid means shopping spree! Our Eid celebration this year started with those joyful moments of shopping with the family. Today, I will share with you our experience of that busy and colorful time on the day before Eid.
Just before Eid, we all went to the market. Just looking at the crowd in the market and the decorations around, you can understand how much Eid is in full swing. We started shopping for the kids first. After buying clothes, we went to the shoe store.
Seeing all the colorful shoes arranged in rows in the store will make anyone feel good. Finding the right shoes, especially for children, is both a joy and a bit of work. As you can see in the picture, we were choosing the shoes we liked from the numerous designs. The joy of the kids was at the center of everything.
When they were happily celebrating their new shoes, it seemed like the real joy of Eid was here.
My family members are my biggest strength. The meaning of the festival lies in walking around together and shopping with each other's preferences in mind. Although we walked quite a bit while shopping, we were not tired. The hustle and bustle around us and the festive atmosphere kept us alert all the time.
Marketing means eating something delicious at the end! After shopping, we all sat down to eat fuchka together. After the busyness and walking around all day, the taste of sour and spicy fuchka seemed to remove all the fatigue in an instant. This moment of eating fuchka while chatting with the whole family was the best part of the day.
Eid is not just about new clothes, Eid means putting smiles on the faces of loved ones and spending time together. These colorful memories of shopping will bring joy to our hearts all year long.
