My rooftop garden journey began with a love for nature and plants. Who doesn't like to get a touch of greenery in this busy concrete city? Although there are various types of plants in my small garden, the lemon tree is my favorite. Waking up every morning with a cup of tea in hand and spending time among this greenery is a great source of mental peace for me.
Today's afternoon was a little different. While taking care of the leaves of the lemon tree, I suddenly noticed a very beautiful small insect sitting on the leaf. I was fascinated by the craftsmanship of its body and the strange pattern of the gray-brown mixture. It seemed that nature itself had decorated it with the brush of a skilled artist. These may seem ordinary to our eyes, but if you look a little deeper, you can understand how much perfect beauty is hidden in each tiny creature.
I always feel that a garden is not just a collection of trees, but rather it is a small ecosystem. As flowers bloom here, so do all kinds of insects and moths. Occasionally, I see such colorful and strangely shaped insects on the lemon tree. Today, as I had time, I quickly took out my mobile and tried to take a few macro shots of this little guest.
While taking the picture, the insect was very calm, as if it was posing in front of the camera itself.
I tried to bring out the contrast of its body pattern and the green color of the lemon leaves. I enjoyed the entire time taking the pictures. Many times, we avoid such simple but extraordinary beauties around us due to the pressure of mechanical life. But today, by taking pictures of this little insect, I reconnected with nature anew.
The joy of rooftop gardening is seeing a new flower, a new bud, or an unknown little guest every day. These small joys make life more beautiful. I am happy to share this moment with you.
This was my arrangement for today. I hope you liked the pictures I took and the nature observations. Wishing everyone good health, I bid you farewell here today.
