Hello people!
Today I present you my first lightpainting picture what I have made with a model and fire. The image is relatively simple in design, but it expresses a lot of energy. The model dressed up as a samurai fighter and took a fixed position which I had marked on the floor. Behind him I put a flash on a tripod which was covered with an orange foil. Then I Vaped some smoke in the Air. I then asked him to turn around himself 2 times with the burning sword and then go into an attack position. At the moment when he was in the right final position I ended the long exposure with a 2nd curtain flash. After a few tries we were very happy with the resulting photo.
WHAT IS LIGHTPAINTING?
Lightpainting is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source while taking a long exposure photograph, either to illuminate a subject or to shine a point of light directly at the camera, or by moving the camera itself during exposure. Nothing is added or removed in post processing.
